This pub was such a pleasant surprise. We were greeted at the bar with a friendly welcome and shown to our room which was large, warm and had a really comfortable bed and pillows. We had an excellent nights sleep. We dined in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The staff were really attentive and the food well cooked and tasty especially the pepper sauce which came in a proper jug, not the thimbleful that you usually get and the chips were delicious. It was a shame we were just passing through or we would be definite regulars at this establishment. We will definitely try to come back.

This hotel is located near many of South Petherton's attractions including Vaux Park Polo Club, The David Hall and South Petherton Mike Saint Pavilion.When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
