After staying with friends at the other Marriott in town a couple months prior and loving it, I decided to book a few days here with my husband for a romantic anniversary trip. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our stay at Mariott's Timber Lodge. We paid for half the trip in credit card points, half in cash, but even with that discount, this hotel does NOT offer value for the money. From the moment we drove up, the valets were walking right past us without even looking at us. My husband had to exit the car and flag down a valet who was standing not even 10 feet away but refused to notice us. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but the good service started and ended there. We were made aware of construction on the hotel prior to booking, but not until we arrived were we informed that we had to keep our windows and curtains closed for half our stay ”to maintain our privacy” because drones were going to be inspecting and taking photos of the outside of the building and the roof. No fresh air or view for us... As we were pushing our full luggage cart up the ramp to get to the elevators, the ”concierge” (more like a used car salesman) was screaming at us to come to his desk to sell us tickets to something. The ”concierge” proceeded to call us the following morning for more hard sell (waking my husband up), followed by repeated spam text messages throughout our stay. The soaking tub in the bedroom was rickety (it made creaking noises when my average-sized husband sat down on the edge) and filthy (noticeable hairs and smudges on the bottom of the tub). The towels smelled bad. The toilet seat was both too small for the toilet and was installed crooked. And the toilet itself was oddly very low to the ground. When we called down for more towels we were told that would be an extra charge, or that we could wash our dirty towels ourselves in the room. And that laundry detergent was included, but not dryer sheets. After we washed the towels ourselves, we noticed they smelled nice and fresh. I'm sorry but when you're spending about the same amount as a mortgage payment on a 4-night stay at a hotel, fresh CLEAN towels should be bare minimum of what's included and additional CLEAN towels shouldd be provided upon request. The bed was hard as a rock and yet also somehow unsupportive when shifting positions while you sleep. If your partner moves in the slightest, you will feel it and it will wake you up. Pillows were a weird half-size and extremely squishy and unsupportive. We both slept terribly. The thermostat had a mind of its own and refused to stay on overnight. And since we couldn't open the windows because of the drones, the room got quite stuffy and overly warm. The valets are dismissive, unhelpful...and TWICE (two different people) smelled so bad that we had to air out the car after they brought it around. I think they were passing gas in our car. Ottimo luogo, passeggiata a tutto! Il lago è dietro l'hotel. Passeggiata al cielo e altre due piazze. Parcheggio è lungo la strada ma è gratuito. Le camere sono un po' antiquate, ma sono pulite e vengono con cucina che è super conveniente se si vuole riscaldare o magazzinare cibo. Ma in generale, è stata una piacevole esperienza.

La squadra era attenta prima di controllare la fornitura di informazioni. Tuttavia, dopo il check-in, abbiamo avuto molte domande in termini di pulizia della casa. Le lastre di letto erano sporche con capelli, lavastoviglie e forno sporco. Abbiamo cercato di raggiungere l'ufficio locale senza risposta. Possiamo entrare in contatto con l'ufficio principale di Vacasa tramite messaggio di testo la notte. Potevi solo prendere il testo e nessuno ha preso il telefono. . Mi sono stato chiesto di inviare foto via messaggio di testo. Le foto sono state inviate. Nessuno ha chiamato, solo una scusa per il testo. Ho trovato nuove foglie nelle disegni. Anche se non ero sicuro di quanto fossero pulite, li ho usati per sostituire quelle sporche. Qualcuno della pulizia mi ha chiamato la mattina, ma non potevo prenderla. Non ho risposto. Ho lasciato un messaggio di testo. Non ho risposto. Ho chiamato l'ufficio principale, mi sono stato detto di aspettare fino a che non arrivassero all'ufficio locale. Aspettato in linea, sono state rivolte domande anche se ho più foto! . Inoltre mi hanno detto di avere qualcuno da controllare. Questo non è accettabile indipendentemente dalla proprietà in cui stai soggiornando. Peggiore esperienza negli anni. In considerazione del prezzo che abbiamo pagato, è ancora più difficile credere: dopo tutto il tempo con l'ufficio principale e infine con l'ufficio locale, ci è stato detto che saremo rimborsati per la tassa di pulizia! ... e qualche ulteriore commissione per l'esperienza sgradevole che abbiamo avuto. Il rimborso totale è stato del 16 %. Non credo che questo possa aiutare nemmeno con l'esperienza sgradevole che abbiamo avuto. Spero che la gestione di questo hotel/condo prenda questo messaggio sul serio e si assicuri che i futuri ospiti abbiano una molto migliore esperienza. Anche ci sono una piscina e un tubo caldo nelle stanze. Tuttavia, la piscina era sporca con voli e non ci sentivamo confortevoli di usarla. Credo che questo dovrebbe essere anche facile da risolvere dal complesso, e se non lo è, non dovrebbe essere annunciato come per l'accordo.

NOTE TO HOTEL MANAGEMENT: if you are going to require VALET PARKING ONLY, then VALET PARKING needs to provide INCREMENTAL VALUE to SELF PARK. VALET PARKING at HOTEL DOES NOT WORK! And it never worked for me during my entire visit. VALET PARKING FAILURES: FAILURE #1: We arrived and there we had THREE DIFFERENT VALET ATTENDANTS??? WHY? -So many valet attendants just creates CONFUSION! -1st Valet Attendant who greeted us did nothing. He just stood there for 4 minutes after I opened the trunk; so by this time; I decided to start taking the luggage from the trunk into the luggage cart; and he WATCHED ME do it; and SAID NOTHING. And didn’t bother to help. -2nd Valet Attendant shows up; and he took over and was helpful and placed last remaining luggage into the luggage cart. However then, he DESERTED US during check-in and said that yet ANOTHER VALET attendant would show up to take luggage to our rooms. HUH? -Is this HOTEL POLICY Or?? (Can it be updated so we only have 1 Valet Attendant assisting us?) -3rd Valet Attendant shows up, and has no idea what luggage goes where and to which room. So now we have yet another valet attendant helping us; however it SEEMS SO UNNECESSARY to have to engage with 3 different VALET Attendants. FAILURE #2. I called in the AM to have the car brought around; and there was NO ANSWER for 10-15 minutes. -I finally got someone on the phone who said, cars are only brought to front of hotel from parking garage via a face to face request in the LOBBY. VALET PARKING does not ACCEPT PHONE CALLS only in PERSON REQUEST….. HUH??? HOTEL MANAGEMENT: can you please change POLICY so you can accept phone calls for Car Valet requests? FAILURE #3. I finally go downstairs to Valet window to request my car; wait in line; finally I go outside to retrieve my car (which is ALREADY PARKED OUTSIDE) and there are no VALET ATTENDANTS IN SIGHT! -My car is parked and locked; so I can’t get in…..and there are no VALET ATTENDANTS around; so we have to stand around waiting for someone to show up (Again, VALET PARKING is INEFFICIENT!; I would have had my car quicker with SELF PARK). FAILURE #4. I request my car and girl at Valet window mentions “it will be 10-15 minutes” so I step back into the hotel for a few minutes. I come back out in 10 minutes and STILL NO CAR. There are 3-4 Valet Attendants outside and all of them have DEER IN HEADLIGHTS expression. No one has any IDEA on status of my vehicle. Finally; a VALET ATTENDANT mentions, “I brought your car around and since I didn’t see you outside; I took you car back to the parking garage”. So now I need to request my vehicle again. And I am back in the line again….. HUH? NOTE to HOTEL MANAGEMENT: if I request my car, it means I need my car for the day. And standard across all US HOTEL is to simply park the car in the front until customer shows up. FAILURE #5 Computer system DOESN”T WORK. -I lost my valet ticket and Valet at front window asked for my name and room nu
