Cedar Inn & Suites

The outside of the property was terrible. It didn't even look open, because no one was at the office. The management was in a neighboring property. The room was old but clean. The management on staff at check-in was great. She even offered me a refund because of the situation. I decided to stay due to her kindness.

It was a pleasant stay, most of things are just at walkable distance. Staff was nice and helpful

This was a very disappointing experience. There is not enough room to put all the reasons, so I will put the #1 reason. The room had this overwhelming smell of old cigarette that prevented us from sleeping. The smell was so strong we had to keep getting out of room to get some fresh air. The only silver lining; it gave a good jolt to my teenage daughter to do better in life, so she would never stay in a place like this.

The check in desk was so helpful and nice! They gave us amazing recommendations and were super nice. The room was clean and spacious. The location made it easy to walk to the new Tahoe blue center both nights of our event. Was maybe 5-10 minutes to get to the main *****. Highly recommend this place for your travels to Tahoe! :))

Is it the best place in Tahoe? No, but it is a place in transition and they didn’t use that as an excuse.

They need to clean it properly, floor was dirty. Hair, dust all over the floor!

I was waiting to post this in hopes that I would get my deposit back but since I haven’t received my money back yet, I do have to write this review. This was the most rundown disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was a bullet casing on the stairs. When I got there the baseboards and door frames were missing. There was a hole from the air conditioner to outside. The TV was broken. The headboard fell down the wall as we were sleeping, and it felt like the floor was gonna fall out from underneath you. I’m actually going to be looking into getting my money back because it was so disgusting. The towels were dirty there was dust and drink spills on closet shelf because there was no table or counter. We didn’t even have a nightstand. We had a chair and a mini fridge and the light switches didn’t even work . run far away from this place.

Sheets and towels stained, musky smell in room ... i don't have allergies, but my nose was running so bad we couldn't stay. The people who ran it seemed like able, but idk how the rooms are rented, really bad

WOULD AVOID BOOKING HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!! We booked and got put in the back building which looks like it could fall down at any moment. The room was absolutely DISGUSTING! The sheets had stains all over them, there were cob webs EVERYWHERE, dirt all over the walls, ceiling had dirty hand prints on it and the walls were cracked. The pictures on the add through ******* are of the other hotel that these people own The Alpine Inn right next door. We asked to move to the other hotel and they tried to tack on another $25 when we paid almost double than what one of the rooms at the Alpine were going for that night. It was absolutely horrid and a terrible experience.
