I dined at the restaurant every Sunday and some days I was always entertained by MB, in Green Leaf Hotel, and it was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was calm and inviting, with soft lighting and a touch of greenery that perfectly complemented. Food is yummy and MB is always there to assist me. Overall, it’s a wonderful choice for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely return on my next visit!

The rooms are comfy enough, and the A/C, though box type, is not too noisy. Breakfast is OK, and airport pickups are cheaper than a taxi. But... P2800 for the cheapest room is daylight robbery, and you even have to pay P350 extra per night for a fridge. You don't get hand towels, only bath towels. There's no room safe. And both TV (Sky) and wifi (PLDT) are absolutely awful. The TV channels keep breaking up and are almost unwatchable, and the wifi is extremely slow and keeps dropping out completely for minutes at a time. If you stay at this hotel you will end up using your mobile data just to avoid being driven mad by connection dropouts. The in-house wifi won't even load Wikipedia. What is it about Gensan hotels that stops them providing usable wifi? The Royale Hotel wifi is terrible, the Greenleaf wifi is terrible, the Grand Summit wifi is terrible. The only (just about) usable wifi is at the Microtel (which has awful breakfasts and is also seriously overpriced). I come to Gensan several times a year, and now I just resign myself to using massive amounts of mobile data every time I come. Gensan hotels, you are holding your city back.

È stato il miglior microhotel che abbiamo visitato, ma non è la prima volta che visitamo GenSan e troviamo un grande microhotel. Anche il personale è grande, e in realtà serve una pausa veloce che è sorprendente solo per goderla con il mio amore della mia vita.

Questa recensione si basa sulla prima camera che è P4990/night. La stanza era fondamentalmente OK con un sacco di spazio di archiviazione e un grande scrivania (ma nessuna socket di potenza in riserva in qualsiasi punto vicino a essa). Il divano era rotto in diversi posti. Il wifi era affidabile ma solo circa 8MBps. Il letto reale era in realtà due letti singoli con un cordone in mezzo. Il segnale televisivo era cattivo e la foto continuava a rompersi. Le tende della stanza non chiudono la luce perché l'unità A/C è troppo grande e si avvicina, e le finestre non sono doppiamente ingranaggiate, quindi il rumore del traffico è molto alto. Ma la cosa peggiore della stanza era la bagno, che era piccola e poco pratica, non ci sono gabbie da bagno per mettere i bagni, e la progettazione della doccia fa fluire l’acqua in tutto il pavimento della stanza. Per vedere il menu di servizio in camera è necessario scansionare un codice QR, ma il sito web dell'hotel è rotto in modo che non funziona e si deve trovare qualcuno per portare il menu nella sua stanza. Il colazione era di scarsa qualità (pizza? veramente?) e la sala da colazione non si trova abbastanza persone, quindi si aspetta intorno a una tavola. Ho visto una macchina espresso dopo colazione, ma non ho avuto questa scelta quando si sedeva. In generale, l'Aviore è estremamente deludente (tutto sembra bello, ma è molto mal progettato) e non la userò più. È certamente, molto costoso. La prima stanza vale la pena P2000/night, non più. Temo di pensare a come sono le stanze standard.

Stayed 4 nights on level 4. Only positives - halfway noise minimal due to us being near the carpeted area and the aircon was quiet as it was a split system. Negatives - Asked for the room to be cleaned once in 4 nights. 10 x 1 litre water bottles not thrown out plus wine bottle. Toilet paper not refreshed. Toiletries not replaced. Dirty cups and glasses not replaced. Breakfast - You get meal plans to choose from for breakfast. From memory 5 or 6 options. All bar one are Filipino foods eg Bangus (dried fish). Only western option is pancakes. Ask for it and get told no pancakes because of pandemic (April 2022) there's no flour to make them. Get the egg option and get handed bread. Main ingredient = flour. Next day get pancakes offered. Wow! Pandemic ended quickly. Picture has 3 pancakes but receive 2. Have to barter for 3rd pancake. I asked for the banana that comes with the pancakes as all I got was 2 lonely pancakes. Told there's a marketing issue (yeah marketing) and management didn't order bananas. The entire island is known for fruit and literally 20m away is a stall selling bananas. No bananas given for 4 days even though asked for every day. No syrup for pancakes and small amount of honey provided is crystallized so eating the pancakes is like crushing dry matter in your mouth and trying to swallow. This carried on for 4 days until checkout at 6am for our 7am bus ride. Tried calling every ten minutes at reception to place our breakfast order so we can get it at opening time of 6am so we aren't late. Every ten minutes called from 5am till 6am. Noone answered till 6am. Then told breakfast doesn't start till 6.30am. Told them we planned our day from what their menu says at the bottom ”breakfast only served between 6am and 10am”. We also tried organising at reception night before prior to 7pm and noone at reception. We then went downstairs and only asked for 2 coffees. Not even full breakfasts. Was told breakfast doesn't start till 6.30am. Couldn't even get our coffee to start the day. Lastly asked for taxi to get us to the bus terminal. We had 20 minutes to get there. Told it well be organised by reception. Wait 15 minutes and asked how long till they arrive. Then told they couldn't get a taxi. So we wasted 15 minutes. Now left with 5 minutes to spare my filipina fiance walks the main street searching for a taxi that doesn't exist. Meanwhile the 2 porters/ security/ cleaners point her way, talk in tagalog and laugh. A tricycle driver stalked her back to the hotel. She asks him how much and he proceeds to rip her off in front of the 2 employees. They never once insisted to the driver to reduce his prices or even offer to organise a tricycle for us. We took a few minutes to barter him down. So for what is meant to be one of the more expensive stays in the area, believe me you aren't getting what you pay for.

The stay was good except for the space was really micro, and didn’t expect this to be that small. The aircon needs to be fixed as it seems to be too loud. It’s an economy hotel and good for brief stay. The rates are good and just as expected. Did not accept credit card payment? The place seems convenient to nearby commercial area
