I booked a stayed at Aquays hotel in Havelock for three nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. 1. The restaurant prices were exorbitant compared to nearby eateries. We ordered malai kofta of ₹499 which tasted terrible. The masala kulcha was thick and practically inedible. 2. The swimming pool was dirty and uninviting. Despite our complaint, the hotel staff provided excuses and took no action. 3. On the first night, we complained 3 times about the malfunctioning AC in our room. At 11 PM, they informed us to wait for another half an hour or consider changing rooms. Exhausted, we chose to endure the discomfort. 4. The next morning, the idli was so hard that it could have caused injury if thrown. The muffins were undercooked and overly sweet. Shockingly, no fresh fruits were served. 5. Day 2, they finally shifted us to a different room where the AC worked properly. But this room had termite issue and water dripping from toilet false ceiling. However, this change came too late to salvage our experience. 6. For lunch and dinner, we had to dine at other nearby restaurants. These alternatives offered better food quality and reasonable prices. 7. Due to the hotel's pathetic service, we decided to cut our stay short and left after just two nights. Our agent shifted us to the other branch of the same hotel in neil island. I strongly advise against anyone trying Aquays as there are far better options available.
