Sensimar Scherehazade

Excellent relaxed visit from arrival to departure. Reception quick and efficient on booking in and despatch of baggage to our room. Original room 829 however overlooked the garden. This was changed swiftly as we had a sea view room booked to 610. The food was outstanding in both the main restaurant which we used at breakfast and dinner. Special note to Balsem for her omlettes and to Abed Hak and Saied our waiters also to Yasinne and the boys at the snack bar where we had lunch. Our thanks to Khalifa and Kemel for keeping us supplied with our drinks. Did not use the Culinarium during our stay as we are light eaters. The hotel rooms and grounds were clean and well kept. We found no difficulty in getting sun beds. The life guards have a stock of spares which they also supplied with mattresses and a small table. The toilets by the snack bar are so clean they would earn 6 stars in any other hotel. Whilst we were there, their was no seaweed problem. Overall this was a nice hotel to visit we were made to feel welcome by all the staff that we met. The only let down as such was the low key evening entertainments, needs a touch more proffesionalility some of the singers seem to know only half of the words in a song. However we would still come again and recommend it.

I had never considered Tunisia for a holiday, my partner had been some 20 years ago. We do like a TUI Blue for two and for many reasons this holiday ticked our criteria. Less than 3 hour flight, adults only, all inclusive and a private beach area. First impressions on arrival were, yes this ticks all my boxes for a decent 4 star all inclusive hotel however the reason I've reviewed this hotel as 5 star is because of the staff. It is so rare to come across an entire hotel where every single member of staff whether it be management or cleaning is happy to actually be there. The presence of management is excellent, interacting with both guest and staff. The mood amoungst the staff was so positive it showed they all got on and enjoyed their jobs which in turn rubs off on the atmosphere of the whole hotel. Being able to sit on the beach without being hassled and getting excellent waiter service was a great plus to this hotel, more like a Royalton in the Caribbean at a far more favourable price. Although spirits are not branded we were very impressed for all inclusive. Once they know you like a drink they certainly aren't shy with measures!! I also like that on the whole mixers are served from bottles and not soda stream so they are actually fizzy. For our taste we found the food to be very good. The variety was great. I liked that there was quite an emphasis on national dishes rather than just chips and meat to cater for the tourist. The desserts were on a level of a patisserie. Usually in all inclusive buffets you see a tempting chocolate dessert and it's more than disappointing but here I would gladly pay money for some of those cakes. Entertainment isn't a priority for us, a couple of the singers were enjoyable and the silent disco more amusing to watch rather than join in however we preferred to enjoy the lobby bar and the outstanding staff in there in the evenings. I don't overly understand comments about the rooms being small. I believe people must conceive it's small because of the configuration. We personally liked having the divide between the bathroom and bed which you could almost call your dressing area. With this design it means the bed faces the balcony and the lovely sea view, worked for us. Overall a holiday that exceeded my expectations and would and will return.

Home safe and sound what a perfect honeymoon in Tui Blue Scheherazade we certainly got emotional leaving its been brilliant from the second we get got off the transport. We couldn't of wanted for anything we are so incredibly greatful to every single staff member. Such a beautiful hotel and we was just blown away by the staffs hard work and dedication. A very special shoutout to Ahmed Fradi who couldn't do enough for us. This guy works incredibly hard to make you feel Welcome my husband certainly felt like he had met a brother from another mother. Don't be afraid to have a good conversation with the staff because they love it and getting to know them has been brilliant. Our room was cleaned daily. Pool staff bringing us drinks and not even having to ask us what we wanted because somehow they knew even though they have hundreds of orders to remember. Nizar the waiter in the restaurant was brilliant that man certainly knows good service. Food was lovely and was nice to taste different cuisine. The desserts were on another level all I can say is wow. Entertainment every evening was fantastic. We never struggled once for a sunbed either the pools are lovely. Entertainment staff particular Jemma brought us out our shell a little. I would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We have come away so happy and not a single complaint from us also shout out to the photographer at the hotel he's brilliant we also met some lovely people ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic buffet. Huge amounts and variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of the swimming pools is heated. Nice live entertainment in bar. Staff super friendly. Unfortunately too cold and blustery to use main pool and beach in April, but probably lots of things to do on beach in summer. Lots of parking stalls. Easy access from main highway if coming from the North, but have to drive thru town with many traffic lights and construction if coming from South, i.e. El Jem; better to go past city on highway and take North exit.

Incredible hotel, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. We had a swim up room which looked over the beach such a gorgeous view. The room was a little small but nice and clean and not in it anyway. The staff were incredible, especially at the pool bar, and couldn’t do enough for you. As a veggie, this place was great for food and had actual options to choose from, carefully labelled and was delicious. My partner raved about the non-veggie food, too. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

This was our first time to Tunisia & we had a fantastic time. Our flight was delayed coming out yet we was still able to get a drink & bite to eat if we wanted it as they kept it open such a lovely gesture. Wine & fruit in room upon arrival. We found all staff to be very good so friendly but one in particular stood out & that was Alaa we called him Elvis such a credit to you. We had a swim up room & couldn’t fault it. The culinarium was excellent alongside the beach restaurant. The buffet had plenty of choices probably too many to be fair. We went into Sousse, visited Hardrock, went paragliding & also used the spa, we made some good memories. The only negative was the floors everywhere seem to be so slippery. One of our party took a nasty fall badly bruising their arm, shoulder & side we reported this & we didn’t even receive a follow up which was very disappointing. The following day however there was floor signs displayed, rather too late!!

First of all I’d like to give the staff at this hotel the credit they deserve! As a solo traveller, I often feel invisible but at this hotel the experience couldn’t have been more opposite!!! The waiters at the snack bar and restaurant couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome!! Even though they were always extremely busy they had the time for a bit of a chat and it really was lovely. The same with the pool and pool bar staff. So, to you guys, thank you so much and you are the reason why I have already booked to come back next year xx Room review: I stayed in a swim up room, 510. It was kept immaculately clean by my amazing cleaner. I regularly had fresh flowers and those lovely towel art things they do. Very thoughtful and a lovely extra touch. If you are looking to find out if a swim up room is worth it, it’s a 50/50 from me to be honest. I visited in April and the entire pool was covered in shade from 1pm, but I loved having that privacy and full sun up until then and there were always plenty of beds to move to, either on the beach or by the pool after lunch, so that was a plus. The minus for me is that the air con was not on and, being on the ground floor, I couldn’t leave the doors open at night so the room became a bit too hot and stuffy. As it stands, I haven’t booked a swim up room next time, but if I was able to travel later when the air con was on, I definitely would. Food & Drink : The food here ranged from good to absolutely delicious!! I would recommend lunch at the pool snack restaurant to take a break from the all inclusive buffet food. I absolutely loved the themed evenings! Beer and wine in the restaurant are also quite good. Drinks by the main pool are also good, they have beer, wine, water and your popular shots with mixers, and the staff there are always bringing your drinks around. That being said, I prefer a mojito, so I would have to wander all the way up to the bar near reception as they didn’t serve them at the pool bar which was a bit confusing but didn’t ruin my stay. I have travelled solo for the last 15 years and this is the first hotel that I have booked to visit again before I came home. I absolutely can’t wait until next year to be back!!

What a wonderful hotel , first time in Tunisia and not sure what to expect but exceeded expectations a million times over. From the lovely check in experience to the view from our room. Was a bit concerned whether it would be a ‘couples’ hotel as travellers with my daughter but no worries was a lovely mix of guests. We went to the beach everyday so close to the hotel as to still enjoy the amenities. All the staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive and always remembered what you were drinking! Food amazing . Already booked for next year. Can’t wait!

Another fantastic stay at this amazing hotel. So lovely to see the wonderful staff again. They all work so hard and made our stay special. Nothing is too much trouble. Very clean, food tasty and varied, so much choice, so peaceful and relaxing. Mohamed, Homdi and Amis in the bar are great guys as all staff are. Service with a smile.
