Gea Suite B&B

This is NOT a B&B! It’s a bare bones room in a in a large rather rundown apartment building on the main drag- very noisy with cars, trucks, motorcycles. (There are 4 rooms total). It appears to have been an apartment that the owner subdivided into 4 rooms. It advertises a pool but it appears to be broken down for some time now because there is no water in it- just lots of leaves, trash, etc. Breakfast is a croissant at a bar down the street. No coffee in the room. No one is on site so you have to text if you need anything. We asked for towels and got 2 floor mats. There is an electric water pot but no cups or mugs/ just 2 tiny paper cups in the bathroom. We asked for toilet paper and got 1/2 a roll. Hot water ran out after a couple showers. The tiny, noisy balcony is a joke because you sit 12 inches from your neighbor in the other room, separated by a 3 feet tall bamboo divider screen. There is only a sheet on the bed/ no comforter or blankets. Pillows were rock hard. We asked for a safe key 3 times before we got on that worked. Found loose safe keys in an unlocked drawer in the entryway. I would advise the owner not to misrepresent this property- we never would have stayed here had we known. Not sure why there are good reviews for this place. Maybe people don’t want others to know they were hoodwinked! On the plus side, the bathroom was a nice size and the room was clean and very close to old town
