Vista Mare B&B

Even before booking, Rafaella was attentive, friendly, timely, courteous and answered all my questions, which was reassuring and tempting. The booking process was seamless with her. As we pulled into her driveway, she was there to welcome my parents and me with her warm, big smile - it already felt like we'd known her forever and she lived up to all the expectations and more. You take a tiny lift up to her apartment and then....Big, spacious, airy, colourful, clean and tastefully decorated, and that's just the entrance and corridor! Our rooms were within a room - Rafaella had thought about everything - a little shoe rack, a mini fridge, a stand with kettle, teas, mugs, napkins and games in a little cupboard! Extremely thoughtful and super attentive to every necessity and detail. Then our rooms! Massive! Big beds, dressing tables mirrors, side tables, lamps, TV, cupboards. And a nice big bathroom with excellent hot water and powerful shower. There was nothing missing anywhere. Then The Terrace - biiig, clean, lovely plants, a swing, two gorgeous cats and sweeping views of the sea, rooftops and Vesuvius! This is where we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast layed out by Rafaella with her love every moment (weatherpermitting) - local sweets, cheese, tomatoes, juice, cereals, bread, fruits and more. We had the best stay which Rafaella made possible - you can see her passion, love, commitment and hard work for her Vista Mare B&B and for all her guests - shevworks very hard every single day to keep up the standards. This lovely B and B is just 2 minutes walk from Sorrento Station. Found on TA and booked via Booking .com. Excellent communication from the hostess Rafaella throughout. We booked the two bedroom family room. Fantastically clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely shower in the spotless bathroom. We stayed for 3 nights and spent two of those on the lovely rooftop terrace. We bought our own produce and Rafaella provided crockery/cutlery/glassware and even some lovely cakes. She wouldn't let us wash up either. Breakfast was good mix of continental and lovely coffee. The small price for the rooftop location is that it is on the fifth floor serviced by a small lift. However the lift always worked throughout our stay so no issue. Thoroughly recommended.

We have just had a wonderful 3 nights here and Rafaella is so welcoming and a lovely kind lady, she made sure our stay was just perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Great location very close to train station, 10min walk to the port and only a few mins to the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and immaculate and we loved the balcony area. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely memories have been made here. Would highly recommend staying here.

We booked x2 rooms at Vista Mare, which is located a stone throw away from the Metro and shops. My 2 year old loved it here and she also loved the cat!! Raffaela is an incredible host and did everything to make us happy. (Sorry Raffaele for posting the review so late) Raffaela knew we were celebrating our Anniversary and put some balloons out for us on the Balcony! So sweet of her. I can't stop thinking of the views from the Balcony. Breakfast was lovely and everything local to the B&B. Raffaela, thank you for making our trip so special. We will be back!!

Raffaela is an amazing hostess. Our unit included 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a kingsize bed. Both rooms were beautifully decorate and spotlessly clean; one had a balcony with a view of Vesuvius. Breakfast was served on the rooftop patio, and what a breakfast it was - croissants, fruit, tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, paninis with a view of Vesuvius. As if that wasn’t enough, the location was perfect - just a block from the train station and 2 blocks to the center of town, yet on a quiet street. We can’t wait to return!
