We were given a room in the area that was freshly tarred. The bits of tar were tracked into our room. The staff was very friendly and was able to provide us with towles to step on outside and inside but the tar still was tracked inside.
It was wonderful to have an onsite restaurant. We ate there for dinner and breakfast and ordered lunch to go.

It’s convenient when passing by, off the federal highway. There’s a restaurant on the premises. We’ve been staying here since 2018. It’s clean but rooms need updating. This time, I requested a room away from the highway, a quieter area according to the receptionist. It was noisy! I couldn’t sleep because you can hear people talking outside and from next door rooms. My husband and I couldn’t sleep. We couldn’t hear doors shutting and opening. People coming in the middle of the night were loud. We had a hotel next door neighbor snored all night long and it was loud. The problem was that the walls are thin and there was a door that divided our room and his. That was awful! I might look into a different hotel next time.

Breakfast doesn’t start until 9 am which is way to late for people travelling which would generally be the case here.

We have been staying at this hotel on our trips south to Mazatlan from Canada and back north in the spring every year. After 4 visits, we have noticed the upgrades to the rooms and the property. We look forward to visiting again next year

This is about as nice a place as you can expect. Unfortunately the service is poor. The front desk is slow and the housekeeping is even slower.
The craziest thing is how they do their towels. They will take your towels from your room after servicing it and then you might or might not get them back. If you do it will be in the evening so if you think you will need to shower mid day or don’t want to constantly be waiting hours for towels, bring your own. I have never seen this before anywhere else in the world.
