I have done a lot of traveling that involved 1-4 nights stay all across the Eastern/Midwestern parts of the US. I've seen good and bad establishments. This particular Red Roof was beyond what you could hope for. We were greeted by Daryl who was more than helpful and accommodating. An excellent working man. Quick and efficient. We got a 1st floor room 2 king beds for $78 a night. Plenty of parking was available, well lit, and hotel while near the PA Turnpike was actually very quiet outside and inside your room. Had no fear of entering or exiting the room and leaving belongings in the vehicle. Very few residences close by. Mostly a business area with plenty of options for dining mere minutes away. The room was very clean. Some people may not like the flooring (vinyl wood grain) but I loved it. No moldy, wet nasty carpet. Just a nice shiny clean floor. Bed sheets clean and fresh. Pillows fluffy, beds were comfortable, bathroom toiletries and tub area very clean. Water super hot, appliances all worked, USB and electrical outlets on nightstand all worked. We had no complaints with the room, cleaning staff, or management. All excellent. One simple small complaint was they need to adjust the weather stripping around the door. Thanks Red Roof Somerset PA.
