Lovely setting and Shawn and Steve are gracious hosts. The three course breakfast was absolutely delicious. The Inn is located in the heart of Solomon's Island so lots of options for walking to dinner, or to admire boats and sunsets.

If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, Solomons Victorian Inn is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the innkeepers, Shawn and Steve, whose kindness and engaging presence made us feel right at home. The house itself is beautifully maintained, full of charm, and offers countless cozy spots to sit, relax, and take in the views. The cookies waiting for us upon arrival were a delightful touch, and each morning’s breakfast was not only delicious but clearly made with care. Whether you’re curled up with a book in one of the many inviting nooks or enjoying conversation over coffee on the porch, this inn offers everything you need for a peaceful, memorable stay. We can’t wait to return!

Every single thing about this place is amazing, starting with our hosts Shawn and her husband Steve. They are so very friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and ready to help in any way. We stayed in the Solomon’s Sunset Suite which was wonderful! It is in a converted attic space, so it is quite a climb, but once you taste Shawn’s breakfasts and the cookies she has waiting for you every afternoon, you’ll be glad of the extra exercise! They truly have thought of everything to make your stay extra special! Solomons Victorian Inn is very conveniently located as well. There are several really good restaurants within walking distance, and relaxing in the evening in the beautiful garden area or on the spacious front porch of the inn makes the perfect ending to the day. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this whole experience! We will stay here again!

We visited in late June for three weeks and we had an absolutely wonderful stay at Solomon’s Victorian Inn! From the moment we arrived, Steve and Shawn made us feel so welcome—it’s clear they put their heart into every detail. The breakfasts were truly amazing, beautifully prepared and the perfect way to start each day. The inn itself is charming, full of character, and you can’t beat the location—right on Solomon’s Island, just steps from everything. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or simply enjoy the beauty of the island, this is the place to be. We can’t recommend Solomon’s Victorian Inn enough and can’t wait to come back!

Charming, spotlessly clean, delightful. Owners Shawn and Steve are welcoming and friendly. They have done everything to make this a fabulous stay from the moment of arrival, when they greet you with fresh baked cookies . Shawn is an outstanding baker and she and Steve together prepare wonderful breakfasts. We look forward to returning.

Cozy room with a comfortable bed, TV, Kerig coffee maker and private bathroom. This beautiful Inn is decorated in Victorian style and is especially lovely when decorated for Christmas. Wonderful 3 course breakfasts were delicious. Steve and Shawn are delightful to talk with. This dynamic duo are informative, interesting, witty, warm and welcoming. I’m looking forward to going back for a mini vacation.

This was our second stay at Solomons Victorian Inn! Our Inn Keepers Steve and Shawn cannot do enough to insure guests are made to feel at home! Many small pleasures are offered including an amazing breakfast to wake up to every morning! The rooms are lovely and so comfortable! It is a peaceful respite for any traveler!

Beautiful home hosted by a wonderful and gracious couple! Their hospitality and kindness are unmatched. They go out of their way to add personal care and service. Beautiful room and location. Their B&B on Solomon's Island is a paradise for a couple's getaway!

Our first bed and breakfast experience. We had a lovely room with water view en suite. It was on the second floor so we had to ask Steven to help with our luggage since the stairs are narrow and steep. Shawn made delightful breakfasts adjusted to our diabetic needs and offered homemade cookies every day. There is instant hot water available in the breakfast room, filtered water and an ice machine. The second floor has a den with refrigerator for guest use. The inn only has one first floor room available but we will ask for that one next visit. It has s patio with water and garden views. Parking is off street and private. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay. There is a very active and noisy bar restaurant nearby which might be a problem on high tourist season weekends. Lovely porch, gardens, parlors and game rooms to share. Many nice places to eat within walking distance.
