Soller Garden

We flew out for a friends wedding at the end of september, just booked here as we only needed somewhere basic to sleep. Well it exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the junior suite, and it had everything. Comfortable beds, AC, fridge and gorgeous shower! The staff were absolutely fantastic and the breakfast was perfect. The swimming pool and bar area were great too. We were a 10 min walk from Soller port, which had a lovely vibe and plenty to see. We will certainly be back.

The hotel is in a great location, the breakfast was very good and the pool and pool area were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However the bungalows are really shabby. They were clean and functional but suffocating in the heat making it difficult to get a good night's rest. They were also very dark inside which together with the oppressive heat felt really depressing. Perhaps the concrete shutters could be removed from the windows and both windows and door could be cheaply fitted with a lockable mosquito screen which would mean that they could be open overnight to let some fresh air in whilst maintaining some security and stopping the mozzies from coming in.

Excellent hotel, quaint little bungalows which are really nice and comfortable, breakfast is decent, really nice bar area and staff are so friendly. Superb base for exploring the area, bus stop is 3 or 4 minute walk, beach 5 mins, great value and super service.

I stayed at the beautiful Soller Garden for 6 days. Although it is only a 1 star hotel, I was completely satisfied. The breakfast is very varied and delicious and the staff absolutely friendly and always in a good mood. I loved to listen to the singing of the birds and as well to the singing of the cleaning lady every day😊 As my 2 friends were unfortunately only able to book at short notice, they stayed in another 4-star hotel at the port, where we often met in their room and on their terrace and had a drink at the hotel bar together. I also wanted to show them the Soller Garden one day, I had just popped in to take something I bought at the market at Sóller to my bungalow and we thought we could get a drink at the bar after as we were planning to come back later this year and if possible stay together at this place. Unfortunately, I was told at the bar that my friend and her husband were not allowed to go to the bungalow with me due to the privacy of the customers and that it is also not allowed for strangers not staying at the house to have a drink at the bar with a guest of the hotel. We were very surprised, it says that nowhere, it was in the afternoon at 4pm and I didn't see any other guests on the way to the bungalow or in the bar. I just wanted to show them how clean and beautiful my bungalow was and that something like this would be really suitable for our next stay. The three of us thought that was a real shame, as it would have been an advert for this hotel and they were really interested in having a quick look. And there was no misunderstanding because the woman at the bar, my two friends and I speak the same native language. Everything else at Soller Garden was perfect except for this experience.

This was our sixth stay at the hotel. Excellent value for money. Yes it's basic, but that's what you don't pay for. Good pool, nice staff, basic breakfast, no air-conditioning, no TV in room, no fridge in room. But clean, comfortable and lots of hot water.

After a very pleasant afternoon in Soller….having just missed a bus back to Palma….we came across this place. Situated in a residential area, with lovely looking gardens we wandered in with the hope of purchasing a drink and a seat until the next bus. There were guests it would appear, being checked in at the reception area by a member of staff behind the desk. The woman, I won’t say lady as she clearly wasn’t one…shouted ‘yes, what do you want?’ In an aggressive and rude manner. We said politely we had walked in after discovering it. She then told us to go away and it was private property. We clearly weren’t welcome despite hoping to purchase refreshments. We were horrified and walked straight out. Customer service and common decency don’t figure in this place.
