Soggiorno perfetto. L’hotel è situato in posizione centrale, comodo a tutti gli impianti di risalita. Sevizio e cortesia assolutamente al top.

• Sono indeciso se dare la palma alle piscine o allo spazio a disposizione. Partiamo da quest’ultimo aspetto, perché forse inusuale ...Già, il punto forte è sicuramente lo spazio, che definisce - in un contesto come a Solden di alta concentrazione – il lusso dell’hotel. Ampi spazi ovunque : nella hall, nei luoghi comuni, nel garage, nella spa, nella camera, ... • Quindi passiamo alla spa...o meglio, alle piscine, una interna ed una esterna, di dimensioni superiori alla medi, tanto da poterci fare qualche nuotata. E poi diciamolo : le foto non traggono in inganno come per tanti altri hotel ! La vista che si gonde stando in ammollo è, inoltre, superba. Il resto della spa ? ecco, se gli spazi sono tanti (letti ad acqua, letti col fieno, amache, aree relax interne , esterne...) ho trovato un po' piccole la sauna finlandese e la biosauna. Ma come ? da un wellnesshotel mi sarei anche aspettato almeno una volta al giorno l’aufguss !!! • Colazione/merenda/cena : tutto perfetto... con la colazione si spazia dal dolce al salato senza problemi. Ottimi il pane e la pasticceria (se pur limitata). La cena presenta diverse opzioni e il personale vi viene incontro per qualsiasi esigenza. Piatti ben preparati e con prodotti freschi. Per la merenda, se volete bere, è a disposizione solo il bar. • Personale : sempre gentile e cortese, sia in sala che alla reception. • Allora...i gusti sono gusti e quindi tutti sono opinabili... però mi pare eccessivo autodefinirsi un hotel di design... da fuori è abbastanza anonimo e all’interno non ho trovato nulla di così particolare da definirlo di design. I colori sono abbastanza spenti, le soluzioni architettoniche e i materiali standard... ecco, mi è risultato “anonimo”. Non sono certo le pecorelle ovunque e comunque rappresentate, se pur “simpatiche”, a dargli il titolo. Anche la camera non mi è sembrata così eccezionale, specie il bagno. In altre hotel, anche meno blasonati, le soluzioni sono migliori...d’altronde da un hotel a 5 stelle ti aspetteresti qualcosa in più, anche senza aver soggiornato presso la suite 007.- • L’hotel fornisce la summer card, che permette di sfruttare al meglio e gratuitamente gli impianti di risalita... • Ahhh ! il check alle 16:00 mi pare un po' tardi !

There is no better hotel than the Bergland! It is such a wonderful experience to stay here and the whole family were so sad when we had to leave! Everything is thought through with so much care and attention. We stayed with children aged 6 & 8 and the Easter hunt was incredible. The special touches delivered to all guests were flawless. We used the beautiful spa each day after skiing and had a wonderful signature massage. The dining room is always a lovely experience and the staff are just fantastic! This was not our first visit, and we really hope to return again very soon!

Yet again a truly wonderful holiday at the Bergland hotel! What makes it special is the outstanding design plus the staff many of whom have worked there for decades. In service we again had the pleasure of first class waiters Fenec, Robin (soon to be sommelier), Helena and her sister plus many more. Breakfast buffet is wonderful and the a la carte dining too notch! Reception staff has been starkly upgraded - the team is responsive and very guest-focussed (thanks Bas and others!) Bar staff is also excellent and they can prepare any cocktail of your liking. Not least thanks so much to Sara for hosting our ski safari this time and spending so much time with us (best of luck for your endeavours). Also wonderful to see co-owner Siggi again who takes his time to speak with all guests. Only considerable downside this time was the SPA service. While facilities are great service is sub-standard. We booked a massage and were allocated a slot, no asking about preferences, prior medical history, welcome for intro. No info on prices were provided (€89). We were allocated a male therapist without checking if we’re comfortable with that and when noting that we were not the staff didn’t bother and still didn’t change. The massage then was awkward and hastily conducted as also the therapist realised us being uncomfortable. When we asked to speak to the SPA manager they didn’t revert. Our table neighbours noted a similar occurrence where their teenager daughter also was treated by the male therapist without checking if they felt comfortable. Further the dress code in the sauna area was not enforced which again made the visit uncomfortable. As we very much love the hotel we hope this issue will be addressed.

Food and service is terrific. Everything is clean. Spa is nice. My daughter loved the outdoor sauna. Minor suggestion would be the pillow. Maybe there are more supportive kind, but we didn’t ask the front desk.

We had an absolutely amazing week at Hotel Bergland in Sölden. Our expectations were already extremely high, but they were surpassed by far. The food was truly fantastic. Their spa facilities were the best we’ve ever experienced, and the room was perfect. We were fortunate to have a quiet room with a terrace facing the courtyard, which we later found out from other guests is highly recommended. Despite being a five-star hotel, the atmosphere was relaxed, and there was a familial ambiance between the guests and staff, making the entire stay wonderfully relaxing. The fact that we had perfect snow and weather conditions for our skiing only added to the experience.

Bergland Design and Wellness Hotel Sölden We have just enjoyed a 7 night stay at this incredible hotel. What a gem it is! I cannot fault the hotel and their attention to detail is exceptional. We travelled as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and we had 2 of the deluxe comfort rooms, side by side. The rooms were roomy and so very comfortable, including rocking chairs and terraces. The bathroom included a shower and seperate bathtub. The room also included bathrobes and slippers to use in the spa (more on that later). We made excellent use of the sport shop in the basement and hired our ski equipment for our week long stay. Each morning we would pop down and pick up the gear and then head to the slopes which were only minutes away. Our room package included the Half-Board option where breakfast and dinner are included. We had the same table every time, which was set especially for us each day. There was never any rush for us to vacate the table and as a result we enjoyed leisurely meals, enjoying the delicious Tyrolean produce each day. The service in the restaurant was impeccable and it is clear that the staff are very special and are cared for by the management. Each of them truly seems to enjoy being part of the Bergland family. A special mention must go to Nikolette, our waitress for most meals. She was wonderful. The sky spa in the hotel is amazing, and after skiing most mornings we enjoyed the sauna and spa time in the afternoons. It includes a Finnish sauna, a steam room and a bio-Sauna. My husband and I also enjoyed a special spa package of a body scrub, mask and massage. It was divine!!! We were especially blessed to spend new years at the hotel and had a wonderful New Year’s Eve gala dinner with live music and a real party atmosphere. A lovely evening hosted by Siggi the hotel owner also made us feel like a part of the Bergland family. I honestly could not fault the hotel for anything and am looking forward to one day visiting again. The town of Sölden is just lovely and the snow and skiing conditions are exceptional. I am so glad we found this place, I cannot recommend it more highly.

Wow, arrived and greeted with Prosecco. 1 room was available early, the 2 others were at the designated time of 4pm. The rooms are very large, with lovely balconies and so much storage. The food was Michelin like, with 5 courses per night. Breakfast was all you could ask for. The 2 spa’s were wonderful, outdoor & indoor pools and jacuzzi, saunas, rest areas, plus an Austrian adult sauna with hamman/steam, bio sauna and Finish. The whole hotel has been recently refurbished. Location wise, right in middle of town and within 2 mins of bus stops for both gondolas. There is also a shuttle lift that takes you to slopes so ask about this. Supermarket across road. Sigi the owner came to say hello which was a nice touch one evening during dinner. The ski area is excellent but so go to Hochgurgl. Good bars, Marcos, Live.
