Hotel Pošta

We stayed here for one night as part of a walking holiday. The hotel is in an ideal position - right in the historic town square surrounded by shops and cafes. Very pretty. It has many antique pieces decorating the entire place. Old fashioned and spacious. No lift but there’s only one floor to climb. Huge, spacious rooms, we had an ante-room ideal for luggage and shoes. Looking out into the town square which was wonderful. Despite opening the windows, we weren’t disturbed by lot of noise at night. No air conditioning. Excellent beds and a wonderful power-shower! What else do you need after a long walk? Service was vey good. Helpful staff. Food: we had 2 meals and drinks in the back garden Very high standard, good servings and delectable. Breakfast in the dining area inside which had a pub-like feel. Adequate spread at breakfast with very good coffee. Would be happy to stay there again and recommend it if one willing to trade some modern amenities for the ‘feel’ and living in an old-style hotel.
