I felt the hotel could have been more secure if the side door was locked after 9pm or 10pm. We returned after 12am and the side door was unlocked. A key entry would make things safer. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.

Noise- (the doors slam and are not slow closing doors , so anytime anyone leaves their room there are doors slamming throughout all hours of the night and early morning. Was very hard to get a decent night of sleep). You also hear noises and talking in the hallway very easily. Walls are thin. The AC unit is also extremely loud. Had to turn it off just to be able to sleep
Outdated and dirty- the furniture looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. My computer chair was broken. My bed looked clean, but the rest of the furniture needed a deep clean

We had a great stay. The hotel is older and a bit worn around the edges, but the staff are nice and the rooms are clean. Rooms are spacious. Only complaint is the thin walls and doors - you can hear everything people say in their rooms when you walk past, and when people walk past your room it sounds like they are in your room! If there were more people staying at the hotel it would not be as nice, so I’m not sure if we would stay again.

Had a great stay @ the La Quinta in Slidell! The staff were great, housekeeping was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Great rates and breakfast included.

The AC was not working. Also we were sent to the wrong room where someone was already there. Had an awakward situation.

We stayed here on our way to Tennessee. The desk clerk was very friendly with welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. It’s a small hotel great for a quick stay. Easy on and off the highway. The pet fee wasn’t ridiculously high and we felt safe when we took our fur babies out to take care of business. (Our papillon was like a little kid jumping from bed to bed - so she liked the room. Our Cavalier, he likes jumping in the shower to wash his paws, so the low tub was exciting to him.)

The whole place was old. You could tell this was purchased and slapped the la Quinta name on it. The bathroom is dirty with hairballs everywhere, including in the room itself. It was hard to tell if even the mattress and sheets for changed.
