Muses

Il personale dell'Hotel era accogliente e cordiale. Le colazioni erano molto belle. I letti però erano orribili, come dormire su un materasso di ferro. Abbiamo sofferto alla fine della nostra settimana, il dolore alle articolazioni è stato scioccante. Anche il frigorifero incluso nella nostra camera non funzionava e non c'era il bollitore in camera. Abbiamo scoperto il nostro ultimo giorno che avremmo potuto noleggiare un bollitore alla reception, nessuno lo aveva menzionato al momento del check-in. Inoltre ci sono molte scale per raggiungere la reception e la sala da pranzo, nonché la sistemazione. L'energia elettrica nelle camere è gestita da una tessera attaccata alla chiave della camera, quindi quando si esce, manca l'elettricità, quindi se il frigo avesse funzionato sarebbe stato spento tutto il giorno mentre eravamo in spiaggia ecc! Tra i lati positivi, l'hotel era perfettamente pulito, i letti rifatti e i cestini svuotati ogni giorno, le lenzuola vengono cambiate ogni 3 giorni e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati regolarmente. I letti orribili hanno rovinato il nostro soggiorno.

Sono appena tornato da un altro soggiorno al Muse. Molto amichevole . La colazione è essenziale ma adeguata. L'area bar a bordo piscina è pulita e confortevole. Sfortunatamente il ristorante non ha aperto quest'anno ma sappiamo dall'esperienza precedente che il cibo e il servizio sono molto buoni. Le camere sono confortevoli e pulite e la cameriera arriva quasi ogni giorno. Se puoi, richiedi una camera al piano superiore, sono più grandi e dispongono di ampi balconi. La fermata dell'autobus 25 è appena fuori, a 25 minuti dalla città di Skiathos, dove ci sono molti negozi, bar e ristoranti, ma è un bel viaggio lungo la costa meridionale. La spiaggia di Koukounaris è a 5 minuti a piedi attraverso una riserva naturale e le spiagge settentrionali di Mandraki ed Elias sono a 30 minuti attraverso la foresta, spiagge incontaminate che vale la pena fare una passeggiata o che puoi guidare. Questo è un bell'albergo se vuoi rilassarti.

Il Muses è un tipico piccolo hotel greco a conduzione familiare, praticamente all'altezza di quello che ci aspettavamo. Gestione e personale molto cordiali, l'hotel è immacolato, le camere sono un po' eccentriche ma va bene. L'unico inconveniente è con i letti, mi piace un letto duro ma questi erano duri come la roccia, non va bene. L'area della piscina è ordinata e il personale del bar cordiale ed efficiente. La colazione è il tipico buffet greco, scelta decente e abbondante. Anche il caffè era eccellente. Un sacco di lettini e altre aree salotto in cui rilassarsi. Molti ristoranti sono a portata di mano e la fermata dell'autobus è in fondo alla strada. Ho trascorso due settimane fantastiche, grazie Muses.

I stayed at the Muses for a week. I stayed with my Nan and grandad in a room for 3 and liked it a lot! I’ve been to Skiathos multiple times but this was my second time staying in koukounaries. What was good? The location was very nice and about a 15 minute walk from koukounaries beach. The food was amazing there and had a nice bar there too. The pool was great for kids but is very deep so I would recommend supervision towards the deep end with younger children. The Pool area was great except it was hard to claim sunbeds. What wasn’t good? The room was very nice, but quite basic which isn’t terrible but if your looking for a luxury room this isn’t your place. Our shower door wasn’t great. It didn’t fit the floor and the door wasn’t great, although the other people I stayed with was staying in a different room and they said they’re shower was fine. The pool was good except for the fact that the water made my family’s swimming costumes yellow. The breakfast was okay. Quite basic and as a picky eater I didn’t have much to eat. Altogether I think this is a good place to go with a small family and I hope this review helped 😊

Hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to 4 beautiful beaches. Very convenient bus service to Skiathos town, every 10 mins, bus stop over the road. Comfortable place to stay, staff very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Restaurant at the hotel had a good variety of food and tasted great. We really enjoyed our family holiday.

We have holidayed in Greece loads so fully appreciate the standard of accommodation but this was probably the worst we’ve had for a long time, if it had been cheaper we wouldn’t have minded but the price we paid for the standard was really disappointing. Tired, very little storage for three people in the room, cleaned daily but on occasions when we had the bedding etc changed we had things missing, no pillow cases and had to ask more than once for these things. We holidayed with family and one of their rooms the bed broke one evening and had no lights on the stairwell for night time. Very little choice for food at the pool bar, toast, salad or a club sandwich so we went elsewhere most days. Pool was clean for the first week but then cleaning seemed to stop and the water was murky with bits floating in it. If you like sun then the pool area isn’t for you, there are umbrellas round the sun beds which you physically couldn’t put down so you’re in shade half of your day. The breakfast selection.. the less said about that the better but there is a nice bakery a short walk away. The food at the restaurants around was lovely but there was no where in an evening to sit and eat or drink and look out to sea if that’s what you like, all the food places were on the main road. We also found it one of the more expensive islands we’ve been too. First time in skiathos and wouldn’t rush back, certainly not to Muses.

Stayed here for 9 days all in all hotel is ok breakfast is included a fair choice for continental fare could do with a toaster , pool is deceptive and cleverly photographed small shallow end and very deep the other end only for adults ,there is a kids pool but guests ignore the adult only policy ,sun beds are limited so the normal Brit get down early to bag a bed .didn’t use the restaurant that is attached to hotel found prices a bit dear . Plenty of restaurants to find in the surrounding village bus stops are a plenty and 3 euros to Skiathos town a must visit Very busy beach and 15 euros for beds and umbrella All in all not sure I would go back
