Vassilias Beach Hotel

Questa proprietà deve avere una delle viste più straordinarie di Skiathos e siamo stati sull'isola innumerevoli volte. L'appartamento era perfettamente pulito e il proprietario fa un passo avanti per rendere il vostro soggiorno e la vostra esperienza un vero piacere. Composto da tre edifici separati a tre piani, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere un appartamento nel più alto dei tre; uno svantaggio, una salita incredibile dalla spiaggia/piscina…quest'ultima è di nuovo perfettamente pulita. La spiaggia stessa è stretta e di ciottoli e il vicino hotel di lusso Kassandra Bay rivendica "esclusività", una totale assurdità! Una spiaggia molto migliore con una scelta di taverne è a soli 10 minuti a piedi ad Achladies, il cui supermercato più vicino consegnerà gratuitamente se spendi almeno € 25. Se conosci Skiathos, è alla fermata dell'autobus 9. Ci torneremmo, al 100%. Un punto non correlato all'hotel: la prima sera abbiamo mangiato al ristorante Rada sulla spiaggia, data la comodità della sua posizione…. non l'abbiamo fatto di nuovo!

We absolutely loved our holiday here. Just stunning views to wake up to every morning, a beautiful restaurant nearly on the beach, a beautiful pool and the sea to swim in plus the taxi into town. The hills are steep but definitely got us fitter and we just loved our here and are still missing it. A little slice of paradise!

The most spectacular view from a comfortable, clean and lovely room! The owners were friendly and welcoming, gave us all the local information and were on hand to help if needed. The pool and pool area were clean and well maintained and access to the beach and restaurant were great. The bus stop was nearby for easy access to town *tip* walk down to 8 to get on the bus and on your return get off the bus at 9 and walk down the hill to get back. Decent enough wifi for your phones to work in the rooms. Hob fridge freezer and kettle in the kitchenette, and air con in the main part of the apartment. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels and sheets replaced when needed. There is a supermarket not far but in the heat the walk and hills can be a lot, they do offer a delivery service though which was an amazing bonus! Really enjoyed our stay, we’ll definitely be back!

The view from our apartment was brilliant. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we couldn't single any one person out because everyone was lovely. The apartment was clean, quite spacious, cleaned daily and had everything we needed. The pool was warm and kept very clean. The bar area was next to the restaurant and both had great views. The food at the restaurant was typically Greek, delicious and plentiful. We loved it and will be back next year!

Stayed here for 2 weeks and was blown away by the view from our balcony simply breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble , we stored our money and passports in a safe for free. The room was spotless and cleaned daily , as a couple we both had our own bathroom we had a kitchen , dining area and seating area and more than enough wardrobe space. The hill down to the pool , snack bar and restaurant is very steep and not ideal if you're not good on your feet , the pool itself though is lovely with plenty of sunbeds , we ate regularly from the snack bar and the prices were very reasonable the restaurant was also very good and well priced and it was amazing to eat by the sea , we had breakfast once which was a buffet style for 10 euros the only negative was the eggs sausages and bacon were cold, personally I think we would had breakfast more their if the hot food was cooked fresh. Skiathos is such a laid back island such a wonderful place to go and relax if you want it more busy then Skiathos town is the best place to go where there is loads of shops restaurants and bars and the old port for all your boat trips. With the island been so small we covered most of it there is pretty much 1 road that runs through the island and a bus every 20 mins for either 2 or 3 euros which was good value, by the end of the holiday you find knowing places by their bus stops 1 to 26 , in hindsight hiring a car would be a good option though. Also lots of water taxis available throughout the day and every reasonably priced. Overall a wonderful little island and you can see why so many go back !!.

What a beautiful place that has the best view of the sea that you are practically touching from your apartment. The owners were on site and were so nice and friendly we couldn’t have asked for better. The apartment was well laid out and clean and tidy with a daily cleaning service. We lived on our balcony when we were not out and about and the view is just amazing. Although it is self catering there is a delivery service from the local supermarket and there is a beach tavern yards from the apartments that provides breakfast each morning for 10 euros. This place should definitely be more than the 2 stars that it is. We will definitely be back!
