Hotel in zona Quinta da Fidalga, Sintra

Prima volta in un hotel della catena Ibis, abbiamo passato due notti, l'hotel si trova in una zona industriale ma praticamente a dieci minuti di auto da Sintra, l'abbiamo trovato molto comodo per gli spostamenti. Il parcheggio ha pochi posti ma noi siamo riusciti entrambe le notti a trovare posto, dispone anche di un garage coperto a pagamento. La stanza era di medie dimensioni, noi siamo stati comodi, ha un bagno prefabbricato che penso sia tipico della catena, piccolo ma funzionale. Solo due teli doccia e nessun asciugamano per il viso e prodotti da bagno non di qualità eccelsa. Comunque ottima pulizia sia della camera/bagno che delle zone comuni. Colazione di buona qualità, è la prima volta che in un hotel vedo la possibiltà di farti una spremuta fresca di arance!! Macchinetta automatica per i pancake e una buona scelta di torte e brioche. Modalità self-service con vassoio, alla fine del pasto bisogna portare via tutto nel carrello contenitore.

The hotel is very nice and new looking. Very clean. Andre is so helpful at the front desk as are all of the staff. Loved it here. But for a long stay I would want more amenities but for the price and 2 nights, it was perfect. Lidl Grocery store across the street.

Myself and my 4 year old son stayed here for a weekend, and it was fantastic! We received excellent communication from the front desk via email as we arrived after check in, which meant we could get straight up to our room upon arrival. It's in a great location, and has modern, clean, fresh décor and super friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and A/C. There was plenty of extra bedding in the cupboards too which meant you could change the sheet for a duvet if the weather suddenly changed. The breakfast was a good price, and great continental selection; my son ate everything in sight, and they even went above and beyond to make him pancakes as a treat! There was an honesty bar available throughout the day too for any quick snacks or drinks which was reasonably priced. There's a local grocery shop, pharmacy, café and restaurants all 5mins walk away too which is so useful when travelling with children. Sintra itself was beautiful, my son loved the views, visiting Quinta da Regaleira and spotting the 'castles!' on top of the hills. Do be aware Sintra has a micro climate so the weather can be breezy and cooler than expected! Thank you to all the staff and friendly guests for making us feel so at home, and 100% recommend this lovely hotel.

L'hotel è molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, ed è facile trovarlo secondo la navigazione. Il cortile esterno è bellissimo, e anche la hall e le aree pubbliche sono bellissime. Tuttavia, poiché è una casa vecchia, non c'è l'ascensore, e se abiti in un piano alto, devi portare la valigia per salire. Questo è fondamentalmente il problema negli hotel in cui vivi in vecchie case in Portogallo. Abbiamo prenotato una suite con un piccolo soppalco e un balconcino fuori dal soppalco con una bella vista. La colazione è la loro caffetteria, non con il luogo in cui vivono, è molto vicino, a meno di 5 minuti. La colazione è in stile occidentale, con pane, formaggio, dolci, frutta, una tazza di succo e caffè a persona, il che è abbastanza abbondante.

Room is good, breakfast is okay, nice area and service was really good thanks to Frederico and Marco for always being there and very helpful. The area is next to a really great park and if you work through you'll will find the Oeiras shopping mall. Lots of shops and eating opportunities

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. It is well located in Sintra and presents very nicely (modern lobby decor, good views, large rooms), however we found the service at this hotel inadequate in the following respects: 1. Parking. We came to Sintra in a hire car. I chose this hotel because the booking.com website said that private parking was possible on site at a cost that we were willing to pay. I emailed the hotel before our arrival to arrange for parking but they never replied to my email. When we arrived there was no parking anywhere near the hotel so we parked a long distance away. When we reached the hotel I asked about on site parking and was told that none was available due to a private event being held at the hotel which was scheduled to finish by 8pm that evening. The woman at reception was very haughty and unhelpful, when I asked whether we could get a parking spot after 8pm she just dismissed my request. We ended up leaving our hire car parked a fair way away which was OK for us as we are used to hiking long distances uphill but if you have any mobility issues or are with young children this situation would be a nightmare. 2. On our third day our bath towels were not changed until I specifically asked at reception at about 5pm. Apparently they had had a problem in the laundry. When bath towels were finally delivered they were damp. 3. The toilet in our room took an unusually long time to refill after flushing. 4. The holders for the bath wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower were very flimsy, one of them fell off as soon as I applied for some soap. If I were to revisit Sintra I would look for somewhere else to stay.

Our family room at Sintra 1012 Boutique Guest house was beautifully appointed and well layed out to accomodate our stay. The location is convenient for the centre of Sintra, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and the National Palace. Breakfast was relatively simple though tasty and plentiful. While there are some logistical challenges in staying here, assoicated with being in the zone of a world heritage site, the team at 1012 make such an effort to accomodate their guests in the circumstances. The communication, for instance, before we arrived in terms of check in time and how to arrive was invaluable. We also appreciated the tips on how to travel around Sintra while we were staying there - we were there for a wedding - and how we could be collected by our driver when departing the town. I was especially grateful to the team that, when my room needed to be serviced (enitrely ”my bad” for spilling something), they did so promptly and pleasantly. The team at Sintra 1012 really worked hard to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks so much.

Hotel fuori città, servono 20-25' di bus (fermata a soli 50 mt) per raggiungere il centro storico e le principali attrazioni ma ha il vantaggio di avere la disponibilità di parcheggio in hotel (pochi posti) e abbondante parcheggio gratuito accanto alla struttura. Considerando inoltre che é praticamente impossibile raggiungere in auto il Palacio da Pena e la Quinta da Regaleira è un'opzione interessante. Camera molto basica e datata ma pulita e funzionale. Personale squisitamente disponibile e cordiale, buon rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto alla località.
