Reception is vett try u helpful for all questions and the room is clean aircorn cold enough

Roomn is clean, just a bit small amd without windows

The room was basic, but all that we needed. We were just in town for the Taylor Swift concert, so we just needed a place to lay our heads. It was very convenient to Haji Lane, the pedestrian street, so was great to find options for nightlife and food our first evening. The metro was a short walk away and there was a covered walkway for most of the trip. I did not like that it was a wet bathroom, so no separate shower stall, but the floor dried surprisingly fast after we used it for a shower. I wish there was somewhere to hang your clothes in the bathroom while showering that they wouldn't get wet from the shower. Would stay here again. Definitely a good location.

Simple 2 star hotel for a relatively low price - I mean low, by Singapore standards. It was OK to stay and sleep there, albeit there were many annoyances. 1. You can't control the air condition, so you had two options: either to switch it off and sweat through a tropical night, or sleep in a room of about 17-18 C and wrap yourself as much as you can. 2. You can't open the window. I guess the view would be shocking, so that's fine, however the air felt a little stuffy 3. I do some push ups every morning. Downside, one can see closely what's on the floor. It was full of black hair. I don't know when it was last vacuumed 4. The sink was blocked. Asked to fix it after the first night. Well, they didn't...

highly recommended. The location and staffs are very good.

A very basic hotel. It is well located as you can walk to most centric Singapore touristic places, for example 30 minutes walking to the Merlion. Only recommended if you plan to stay out all day and just need an affordable place to spend the night. I'd say it has average to poor value for money, although in my two trips to Singapore I've learnt that hotels in this city are quite expensive and if you want quality you have to pay a lot. Averages hotels in Singapore are mediocre compared to other top cities

Okay spot, surrounded by cheap eats, good aircon for room but bathroom was humid, basically good value for short stay

Window can be left unfrosted as we need natural sunlight in room

Rooms are typical of Hotel 81. Staffs are pretty responsive and helpful. No facilities but it makes up due to its prime location which is very convenient.
