The counter said that if I came back after 2am, I would have to enter through the back door. But when I returned to the hotel, the back door was locked, so I couldn't stay.

Ive been misled by AGODA and the property which showed on the site that there are Female dorms with Shared Bathrooms! It turns out the bathrooms are SHARED between both Males and Females. Well, no person of sound mind would be able to make that out and the whole point of having Female dorms is to have privacy .. I also fear I developed UTI by using the bathroom .... I left the hostel after one day itself even though my booking was for 6 nights, 7 days. They simply refuse to accept the misleading information and have not given any refund to me.

Kagan and Nas and Izzah are nice and warm. Gives a light vibe despite a very busy and tight schedule. Sets proper expectations and was able to share the dos and donts in a concise manner l, able to help us with our food esp breakfast etc. Thanks guys!

Accidently booked 4 night women dormitory with clearly male names. Denied sleeping here for 4 nights and not compensated/ all money lost(200$). No compensation and no manager to talk to. Very poor customer service and izham the receptionist tried but still 200$ down and no action. Very poor customer service, dormitory also very small and almost no space to change cloths but bathroom not terrible. Little India offeres cheaper private rooms with more space and better service. Don't go to this hostal!

After reviewing this reservation with the online travel platform you made the booking, there is no system glitches and the reservation is correct which you have chosen 2 beds in a female sharing room. We did send a message dated 29th July 2023 asking for the gender of the guests but no response receive at your end. Please take note that the booking you made is strictly non-refundable and non-amendment from the online travel site. If this incident is a glitch at our part or we do have an available mixed sharing room we will definitely amend this for you. Beside from 29th July message, I have also sent you messages last night 06th August 2023 with regards to your concerns with an option to offer you as I currently out of office and unable to be reach via phone. The entire team take their roles in our industry very seriously and try, every day, to provide that quality customer service, that our guests expect however, you are not happy with it as you insist for a refund or change date of stay which cannot be honour. Beside from not being convinced with the options, you take photo of our staff which by right is a violation of personal privacy. Staff on duty Izham did his best to re-arrange your reservation however, only for the 1 night can be able to accommodate you in a mixed sharing room and yes, he also informed me on this and I advised him that we have another 1 night to accommodate your booking at our other outlet the following day but the 2 nights we really cannot be able to amend to another dates or do a refund. We seek your kind understanding that we are following the reservation policy of the online travel site and we also want to be fair with all our guest as well. We also have limitations in honouring guest request most especially if the inconvenience caused is not from our property. I booked online, but in the one I've booked there was no breakfast, so the guy, Mark, very kind, call me a taxi and transfer me in the other one, on the main road, where another young very helpful one, Shahrul give me the bed and the last day let me had a shower!
Fue la peor experiencia, te moris de calor, en cierto horario no te dejan prender el aire acondicionado, hay olor a mugre, la habitación está mugrienta, las cortinas de los baños llenos de hongos, no pasan a limpiarlo. En la madrugada entro una persona a nuestra habitación. Había una rata caminado por el pasillo, el personal nada atento. No vuelvo ni loca

Nosotros cuando viajamos en familia no solemos ir a hostales con baño compartido, pero dado que íbamos a estar en Singapur bastantes noches y que los precios de los hoteles que encontraba eran muy altos, nos decidimos por reservar una habitación sólo para nosotros en este hostal a través de Agoda. Las cosas comenzaron bastante mal, ya que dos días antes nos mandan un mensaje diciendo que ha habido un problema con nuestra reserva, y en vez de una habitación familiar tenemos que compartir habitación. Tras varios mensajes, conseguimos que solo tuviéramos que compartir habitación dos noches, y a cambio, nos ofrecían un transfer al aeropuerto. Llegamos bastante enfadados por la situación, pero al final todo resultó bien y nuestra estancia ha tenido muchos más aspectos positivos, por lo que siendo un alojamiento muy sencillo, lo considero una buena opción para presupuestos ajustados en la carísima Singapur. Aspectos positivos: el personal es muy atento, las habitaciones son tipo cápsulas, pero limpias y con camas cómodas, buen aire acondicionado, muy bien situado cerca de Little India y no muy lejos del barrio árabe, dos paradas de metro cerca a pocos minutos andando (Farrer Park en la línea morada y Jalan Besar en la azul), paradas de autobús casi en frente para ir a la zona del Harbourfront (para ir a Sentosa), o Chinatown. Incluso andando, en unos 30 minutos se puede ir a la zona de la bahía. Incluye un desayuno muy sencillo que consta de tostadas con mantequilla y mermelada, crema de cacao o crema de cacahuete, cereales, leche y café de sobre o té. Después cada uno debe limpiarse sus tazas y platos. Hay tres zonas de duchas por planta, y otros tantos wc, y nosotros no tuvimos problemas para encontrar un wc y/o ducha libre limpio en ningún momento que lo necesitamos. Incluso los días que tuvimos que compartir habitación, la gente fue silenciosa y respetuosa, así que la calidad del sueño fue buena. Las habitaciones no tienen ventana y son silenciosas. Está situado en un lugar no turística, con todo tipo de restaurantes cerquita. Hay un hawker en la misma calle para comer completamente local a buenos precios a unos 5 minutos andando. Aspectos no tan positivos a tener en cuenta: el check in no se puede hacer desde el 2 am-7am, las toallas son de alquiler a 2 $, el espacio de almacenamiento en las habitaciones comunes es justito, las escaleras para acceder a las camas de arriba son algo incómodas. Algunos wc son algo estrechos. En resumen, alojamiento muy sencillo pero adecuado para presupuestos ajustados. Singapur es fascinante, y bien merece la pena dedicarle varios días de visitas.
