Park Place Hotel

My wife and I were in the Park Place Hotel for 3 weeks from July 5th to 26th. The main purpose of my visit from British Columbia, Canada, to Siguatepeque, Honduras was to work on a volunteer assignment. I was on similar volunteer assignments about 20 times before in several countries in Africa, South America and Asia. For the very first time in hotel accommodations during all these visits (and, our personal trips to many other countries), we were taken by surprise when one of the owners of the Park Place Hotel (a family-owned business) came to personally visit us and greet us! She wanted to make sure that all our needs are met, and we are very comfortable during our stay in the Park Place Hotel. My wife and I had never experienced and expected this level of personal attention to Customer Service and Satisfaction! I am a vegan by choice and my wife was also having many food restrictions for health reasons. The hotel made sure that all our food requirements were met by preparing a special menu for us, giving us many choices. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and ALL the staff were super-friendly! Even though we couldn't speak Spanish and some of the staff were not that fluent in English, we used Google Translate to communicate, so the language was not a barrier at all for having a great time in the hotel! On our last day, we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight from San Pedro Sula. The hotel made special arrangements with the restaurant staff to provide packed breakfasts not only for us, but to our driver as well! A truly unbelievable personal attention to make the customers happy! Thank you so much to ALL the hotel, restaurant, kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff for taking great care of us so well! We truly miss you all!! We highly recommend Park Place Hotel and wish them all the continued Success!!!
