This hotel in Sigiriya was very nice, the room was spacious, the food selection at the restaurant was great! :) the pool is facing the Lion’s rock and it’s super beautiful. The hotel is just 5 to 10 mins drive to the rock , so quite convenient to get there for your hike. Recommend you to do hike in the early morning , so there are not so many people. The service was excellent. Recommend.

Hotel Sigiriya is a quaint and rustic hotel. Basic necessities are met. Don’t expect luxury as it’s not and it didn’t advertise it is. We had a good time staying there. The staff are friendly. And the view of the Lion Rock is AMAZING.

Our least popular hotel stay in Sri Lanka. We checked in for 4 nights and needed to ask for a room change the following day given the toilet smelt and slowly kept flooding the bathroom floor. That problem clearly pre-existed, but given most people only stay a night, It wasn't something that was high on the hotels priority list to address. The coaches come and go carrying 55-70 year old Europeans and Chinese, and they only stay a night. The level of service at this hotel wasn't a great experience, with reception needing management attention. There were exceptions (pool guy and luggage porter were both lovely). The most frustrating thing about this hotel is that they should be rocking it. It's a great location, nice pool and a good setting, but that's where it stops. The rooms and restaurant are physically tired. Food was pretty average bordering poor despite being plentiful in choice. They had live music playing at night, which was so 'live' that it sent us to sleep early two nights in a row. Great idea, terrible execution, and that is pretty much how we would sum up the place. It's no surprise that the hero promotional shot used by the hotel to market it's hotel is the photo of the view from the swimming póol to Lions Rock. Sadly, that's the only hero experience to be found at this hotel.

dinner buffet. We’ve ordered a couple of dishes a la carte and they were very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helped us with organizing our trips. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel with comfortable beds situated a short drive from the Sigiriya rock. The restaurant area is the only place that has a view of the rock, and not the rooms itself. Still a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic location for a hotel. The pool and the lounge is just looking right up at lion rock. Rooms are generally clean and serviceable Breakfast was good as well

Wry clean. Best location to go sight seeing to one of the famous world heritages!

This is a wonderful hotel. Everything you need is provided. Friendly, helpful staff. A really relaxing journey. A feeling of luxury in all the parts of the hotel. The room is amazing.

It was such a beautiful place and provided a much needed respite! The massage was fantastic!! And dinner and cocktails delicious. Nothing beats swimming in the rain looking out at the great rock!

Très bon hôtel bien placé pour visiter les attractions de Sigiriya. Petit village à proximité avec quelques restaurants si on souhaite manger le soir. Petit déjeuner varié mais assez simple. Les chambres sont biens mais mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement.
