sehr freundliches service, unglaublich warmherzig und an dir als mensch interessiert. die begrüßung war schon besonders freundlich und offen, das habe ich in 7 wochen reisen in indonesien/bali und vietnam noch nie so erlebt. und sogar als es was mit der spülung bei der toilette hatte, kam man mir entgegne und hat mich gratis zum essen eingeladen sowie zum hafen gebracht. weiters sind schnorcheln und kajak fahren inkludiert gewesen, was das ganze wirklich zu einem guten erlebnis machte! super ruhige zimmer, flottes wlan, und ganz ruhige bucht zum schwimmen und schnorcheln. andere cafes, restuarants und warung am strang in geh-reichweite, und super nah vom hafen (keine 10 minuten). sogar eine runde billard hab ich gespielt. absolute empfehlung!

Posto incantevole, l'Oberoi è stato la tappa finale del viaggio di nozze. L'hotel è situato a nord ovest di lombok a poca distanza da escursioni nelle gili (piccole isole paradisiache). Il Resort è stupendo, curatissimo e offre qualsiasi tipo di servizio. Le stanze curatissime sia come pulizia che arredi. Piscina con vista sul mare e spiaggia bianca. I servizi sono sicuramente il meglio che ci si può aspettare e lo staff rappresenta il vero cuore dell'hotel, tutti efficienti, cordiali, attenti e premurosi per qualsiasi cosa. Servizi in camera davvero ottimi, i ristoranti entrambi fantastici. Servizi di intrattenimento quali, spa, escursioni, bici a noleggio, tennis e tanto altro, rendono il posto di per sé una vera e propria esperienza a lombok. Davvero un Resort a 5 stelle. Altamente consigliato.

Our family had an unforgettable stay at The Sira, a newly opened 5-star resort from the Marriott Group, nestled in a tranquil and secluded part of Northern Lombok, with breathtaking views of the Gili Islands. The location felt like a serene paradise, far from the hustle and bustle. Our room was exceptionally spacious, featuring a stunning balcony that offered a panoramic view of the resort’s pool – the largest on the island of Lombok. The culinary experience was equally remarkable, with delicious offerings at the resort’s multiple restaurants. From the à la carte breakfast to the indulgent lunches and dinners, every meal was a delight. Although our visit was brief, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made it truly special. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, leaving us feeling genuinely cared for. As Titanium Bonvoy members, we deeply appreciated the thoughtful perks and recognition, which elevated our overall experience at this magnificent gem of a hotel. One suggestion for the future would be to expand the amenities and activities for younger children. However, we were delighted to hear that enhancements in this area are planned for 2025, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store. We’re already looking forward to returning for a longer stay during our next trip to Indonesia. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at The Sira for making our short visit so memorable!

Dopo un lungo e esauriente viaggio d’affari, il mio vecchio amico Brett ha deciso di lasciare la griglia per visitare il Giardino di Shibui, e l’antidoto perfetto si è rivelato come le bungalow che ha tagliato e costruito con legno e bambù locali, a mano, fuori da una grotta di cacao. Chiedi la stanza Shibui. La mano costruita è così comoda e ha AC e TV. Conosci nuovi viaggiatori ogni giorno che scendono dal monte Rinjani dopo tre giorni di salita. E' come se si approssimassero a Shangri-La per godere di una doccia calda, dormire di buona notte, buona compagnia e cibo sorprendente. Brett fa tutto da scratch utilizzando gli ingredienti più freschi per il suo cibo di fusione “californaico”. Il suo hamburger di formaggio a casa con le patate è incredibile. Il frigo è immagazzinato con birra fredda. La mano fatta di pasta e pizza sta diventando un must per il post Rinjani combustibile.
