Apsila Pool Suites

Apsila was the cherry on top of our stay at Sifnos. The property was beautifully designed, like a sanctuary overlooking the port of Kamares. Hosts welcomed us with traditional snacks and goodies and were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We’ve just returned from a three-night stay in Sifnos, and what an absolute joy it was to stay at Apsila Pool Suites in Kamares. The villas are among the most beautifully designed I’ve ever experienced (I could happily have moved in!) and we were looked after by the warmest, most caring hospitality team. Their pride in the space they’ve created shines through – everything was simply stunning. Perched on the hill overlooking the harbour, the views are peaceful and energising at any time of day. Afternoons spent watching the sunset from our private pool were pure bliss – and the team can even organise incredible wine to enjoy with it! The hill up to the villas looks steeper than it really is, so don’t be put off. The walk takes you through a charming neighbourhood where you can stop for a friendly chat with some of the locals. We absolutely loved this place and this part of Sifnos – it has retained its Greek magic and innocence. It felt like stepping back in time to the 80s, when people simply enjoyed life without a thought of selfies or influencers – just brilliant! And my favourite part of every day? Watching the local goats stroll past in the afternoon on their daily walk. It was a delight! Thank you, Apsila, for creating such a wonderful environment and an unforgettable stay. We had an incredible stay at Apsila - we stayed for 5 nights, and from the moment we arrived the owners couldn’t do enough for us. Their hospitality beats most luxe hotels we’ve stayed at. The rooms are divine and have everything you need and more. Feels like a private home. The property looks brand new, the attention to detail and high quality fittings and finishes make this place. It is immaculately clean and well taken care of. The views are insane. Housekeeping is twice per day if you wish, which is a nice touch with local treats left each day. Recommend the external massage company - they were great. You’ll need a car but don’t let that put you off - highly recommend your own transport when visiting Sifnos generally, as you need to explore the island as all the incredible villages, swim spots and restaurants etc are spread out across the island. Apsila is 10/10 — we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back.
