Rocket Inn

The Rocket Inn is a lovely vintage motel. Built in 1947, the rooms are small however very clean and very comfortable. Loved the Rocket motif in the room, especially the shower curtain! The heating/cooling unit is very quiet and the mattresses are extremely comfortable, which are important to me. The owner is very friendly, giving us an overview the room and amentities. We will return in the future.

This is a small, boutique motel. The rooms are attractive and have everything you need. The rooms are clean and quiet. You get a yester year feel with a sleek decor that is so much more fun than a chain motel room. The price is right and the motel is very close to downtown art galleries.

The Rocket Inn is truly a hidden gem. From beginning to end our experience was fabulous. We stayed here on a road trip around NM and our stay at the Rocket Inn was enough to want to come back again someday. We were greeted at the front desk by the friendliest woman, I regret not asking her name as she was incredibly kind and helpful during our entire stay. She showed us to our room which was perfectly clean and comfortable. She showed us how to use the AC unit as things were warming up in May and we were grateful to have it! She told us a bit about the town and how we came at an exciting time due to a major motion picture being filmed in the town! By the time we were leaving the following morning, we were able to chat with her and the owner (who were in the middle of cleaning the rooms, I find it admirable to see the owner cleaning the rooms herself!). Our stay at Rocket Inn was absolutely lovely and memorable for years to come. Thank you so much!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! This was our first time staying here and I must say, we were impressed! Our room was extremely clean and felt so fresh as soon as we walked in. The owner was so sweet and provided us with a map and towels for our soak. Can’t eat to come back to this hidden gem! 💎

The room was clean and fairly comfortable. Had to sit in chairs that looked like office chairs to watch TV. Small bathroom with a decent shower. Very small vanity so limited space for toiletries. Small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and sink. Kitchen has a small table for eating. Convenient, assigned parking near your room. If you’re a good walker, it’s reasonably close to the business district and a very nice park on the Rio Grande.

If you’re close to Truth or Consequences make sure you stay at the Rocket Inn! After a day on the car, it was relaxing to sit in their courtyard setting. The room was very clean and the owners were friendly and helpful. Close to everything. It was a fun, vintage experience.
