I stayed at this hotel with my teenage son as part of a G Adventures small group trip for three nights. It was by far the nicest place we stayed on the trip throughout Vietnam and Cambodia and was a resort style facility. I had two aromatherapy massages at the spa which were about $27USD each and were quite nice. The lobby was big, bright and modern and there was a nice pool. The included breakfast A few downsides…the biggest one being the lack of outlets or USB ports in the room. There is a central electrical control on the nightstand we found didn’t work and is connected by old school phone cables. I pulled the nightstand back to try to find an outlet and it unplugged a wire and we could not turn off half of the lights in the room (by the vanity and another lamp) as some things are hardwired. We had to unscrew light bulbs to go to bed after fiddling around with it for 20 minutes. I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room as no outlets were available. Not super ideal when we had to get up at 4am for the sunrise tour to Angkor Wat. It shouldn’t be that hard to turn off lights and charge your phone! Also if you have kids be aware that the diving platform in the pool is incredibly unsafe, it is about 4 feet high and you jump into 4 feet of water and there is mold growing underneath it. It’s a spinal injury waiting to happen. The food and drink service at the pool is very slow and very pricy for that area so we got drinks at the gas station next door instead. The location is not close to restaurants that we saw from the street (I’m sure some were available at other resorts nearby) but you can easily take a Tuk Tuk to Pub Street for a much better selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Overall though it was a good stay and I would recommended.
