Hotel in zona Longlands Recreation Ground, Sidcup

I had a bit of trepidation after reading some of the reviews on here, but I needn't have worried. We needed to stay a night in Bexley as we were attending a party. The bigger hotels were a bit of a way out of the centre, and this one was ideal for the railway station. Anyway, it's a quirky little place and was clearly once a pub, so it's a listed building with lots of funny little architectural quirks. The owner met us when we arrived and sorted out our keys and gave us information about local eateries where they offer discount for guests. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Our room was super clean and well appointed. Two thin pillows and two thick pillows which really pleased us as we have very different pillow needs! A king size bed (very comfortable), tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and a lovely hot shower. We were overlooking the High Street, but as we didn't get back until 2am, we certainly weren't bothered by any noise, and there was no noise on the Sunday morning when we woke up. Check out was simple and we dropped our keys in the box before leaving. We have recommended this hotel to friends who may need to stay in the area, and we will certainly use it again.

Il personale è anche molto amichevole, aperto, e la nostra coppia inglese cattiva ha ascoltato la mia storia e ha fatto una risposta amichevole. Circa 15 minuti dalla stazione, ma tre minuti a piedi possono arrivare alla stazione di autobus, quindi non c'è problema. Grazie mille. Se avessi una possibilita', voglio fermarmi!

I really liked Hotel Love and Peace. It's very clean, very neat, very calm. The service staff is very good at keeping clean, very hospitable and very attentive to their visitors. This Hotel will be loved by all those who decided to take a break. This place can really name: Love In Peace.

Tutto era come previsto, la colazione era eccezionale, il personale era molto cordiale e disponibile e l'hotel era molto pulito. L'unico aspetto negativo è che l'hotel è molto datato e ha bisogno di essere rimesso a nuovo.

Adorava assolutamente la posizione e si ritroverà. Il servizio e l'attenzione ai dettagli della squadra di ricezione sono soprattutto 10/10. Alcune aree dell'hotel hanno bisogno di riqualificazione - anche se solo un lick di pittura per ora, perché non sono in linea con il resto dell'hotel. La stanza era piccola, ma pratica, e purtroppo non aveva la migliore vista, ma non è un problema. Mi sentivo confortevole e sicuro durante il mio soggiorno. Aveva un problema minore con l'unità con con, che è molto datato e non corrispondeva all'estetica di una stanza moderna e rigenerata che sembra molto attraente. In generale, sarebbe molto felice di visitare di nuovo, soprattutto durante l'estate, e di provare il menu del loro pranzo.

In generale, siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dal nostro soggiorno, dal momento che è stata la nostra prima volta che siamo stati in questa catena hotel. La posizione era conveniente a fianco dell'A2, ma ancora tranquilla all'interno del nostro hotel.La stanza era molto grande, il servizio clienti era grande e il valore per i soldi era molto meglio delle catene più stabilite. Il caffè è anche un stand indipendente a pochi passi dall'hotel. Si chiama caffè fondiato e consigliamo una visita. Un hotel molto consigliato.

We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we

Il servizio era fantastico e il cibo era grande e delizioso. Bello personale e un bel ambiente per passare il tempo. Certo che vi prenoterò di nuovo.

Tale grande posizione & il personale è fantastico! Situato proprio accanto a Kings Cross & Coal Drop Yards che è conveniente. Check in è semplice e anche ti lasciano lasciare il bagaglio gratis se ti prendi in anticipo e dopo il check out. Il personale è così gentile, al desk front, Manutenzione, Cleaning Crew & Management. Mi piace come i letti si può cambiare il colore della Lighting. Ci sono plug per il telefono e un cappuccio per memorizzare le tue cose. Inoltre un bar per appendere calzini o un asciugamani. Le camere sono sempre pulite e sempre calde. Le persone hanno eventi per tutta la settimana che è grande per collegarsi con nuove persone. Si può dire al personale che è come la famiglia qui & anime autentiche! Sicuramente suggerire di check out questo ostello quando si reca a Londra! Il mio prossimo viaggio a Londra, io sarò certamente qui. 💚
