Jimmy's Apartments

Siamo appena tornati da un soggiorno di 11 notti al Jimmy's e tutto quello che posso dire è WOW. Nia Alex e Jimmy ti fanno sentire i benvenuti. L'hotel è così carino che puoi onestamente vedere l'amore che è andato in questo hotel. Le camere sono grandi e perfettamente pulite. Tutto fornito che è necessario per una pausa. L'area piscina è incantevole e piena di lettini. L'area del bar è accogliente e una gradita pausa dal sole. Vale sicuramente la pena fare colazione e molta scelta nel menu per tutto il giorno. Il barbecue del mercoledì sera è un must e loro ragazzi lavorano sodo per assicurarsi che vi divertiate tutti. Consiglio vivamente e ritorneremo sicuramente. Grazie ragazzi. ❣️

We stayed here in September as the hotel we normally like to go to was fully booked. The hotel itself was quite adequate, the room had all the facilities you would want and was quite spacious. The pool area was nice (even if the pool quite small) and it was always quite easy to find some nice loungers. The usual rule about only being able to consume food and drink purchased on site applied but the prices were quite reasonable (1 euro a water, 2.80 soft drinks, 3.80 a beer), we ate breakfast at the bar on one occasion which was quite nice also showing live sporting events such as the F1 and Premier league which proved a bonus. On the negatives - the beds were ridiculously uncomfortable, we even ended up switching mattresses from the living room area but just could not get a decent nights sleep, ontop of this there was only 1 (thin) pillow each. The wifi was very good by the pool but non existent anywhere else, even on the balcony which was a stones throw from the pool, in 2024 this should not really be a problem. There also seemed to be a bit of a wasp problem, I have been going to Sidari for almost 10 years and cannot remember seeing so many wasps around the bar and pool. The hotel did seem a little "clicky" with a lot of the guests seeming to know each other from going away there at the same time every year, which isnt a problem in itself but can make it uncomfortable if your first time here.

Jimmy's is a fantastic little hotel ,rooms are spot less as is the whole complex. Jimmy's has his garden area immaculate with beautiful flowers and shrubs the pool is small but adequate and very clean.the pool bar is the hub where guests can have a cold drink and a bite to eat great for a night cap, guests all chat to each other very friendly atmosphere there's a pool table and dart board for the younger ones. Now to the staff Jimmy. Nia, Alex and their mum they are the ones who make your stay perfect attending to your every needs nothing is too much trouble. There are two supermarkets and a couple of bars and a few nice restaurants all a few minutes walk away. The only negative thing is the 1k walk into Sidari ***** there are no footpaths and the road can get busy. There is another way with little to no traffic a small gravel track at the back of the hotel that's very safe during the day but at night there's no lights and it's a haven for mosquitos.but the main road is ok just be careful and keep to the side when a car or coach passes don't let it put you off Jimmy's it's a fantastic hotel.

Fabulous family orientated hotel! We are currently on holiday at Jimmy's hotel, felling so relaxed and having the time to write a review from the hotel bar. This complex is small & immaculately kept. Jimmy waters the gardens daily. The rooms are traditional greek hotel style, some would say dated, I just say traditional. The main thing is they are exceptionally clean. Housekeeping is 6 days a week. There's plenty of loungers, with no need to be up at the crack of dawn to reserve a lounger. We have 3 teenage kids with us and they all very relaxed and very safe. The resort is family run by Jimmy, Alex, Nia & Emma....they really do make you feel at home and the service is second to none. The air con is an additional cost, which is pretty standard for Greece so don't be shocked when you are asked if you want air con. We have it in both our apartments and would not be without it. The food and the drink are very reasonably priced with tonnes of choice on the booze. The full English is yum, not that we have this often but if you love a full English it's good. The rest of the food is great and our 12 year old has ordered chicken nuggets everyday so far so she's a happy bunny. The apartment complex is about a 10-15 min walk to the sea front/ ***** which we like as its peaceful here but near enough to have a stroll. There are 3 really good super markets within a 5 min walk of Jimmys and there's a fridge and freezer box in your room. As for Sidari there are so many fantastic restaurants and bars to frequent and all 3 kids love it. If you like seeing a tribute band or two Sidari has them. If you love traditional greek food Sidari has it. Back to Jimmys..highly recommend for a family or couple or groups. Excellent value for money but more importantly home from home.

Jimmy’s is a lovely little apartment complex on the outskirts of Sidari. We had a wonderful time there, it makes a lovely base for exploring Sidari. It’s a bit of a walk (20-30 mins) to the main beach and ***** (the ***** runs along the beach) and it’s either down a side road or a main road which doesn’t have a pavement so it’s a bit hairy sometimes! But it’s flat and straightforward. There’s another beach a bit closer which is lovely to watch the sunset from. See my other reviews for restaurants in Sidari! Jimmy’s is family run by Alex and his sister Nia, and overseen by Jimmy and his wife. They are so lovely and want to make everyone’s stay the best. The bar and pool area are spotless with plenty of seats and sunloungers, the gardens are amazing too. We had two x one bed apartments. They are traditional but not lacking anything. Ours had balconies overlooking the woods and fields at the back. Fascinating to hear the loudest cicadas I have ever heard, day and night! The rooms are spacious and the beds quite hard but we found them comfortable. I’d recommend getting the air con if visiting in high summer - it was mid-30s when we were there. Also make sure you make the 40 min or so walk along to Canal d’Amour if you can, it’s stunning. Thanks Nia, Alex and family for a fab time!
