Eccezionale
I was having surgery in Durango, because the room I booked was available they allowed me to check in way earlier than my designated time due to my operation. In addition, they provided me water bottles and complimentary snacks. I am a gold member and I have stayed at many hiltons. You could tell this location really did care about its guest as most other places would have not made the accommodation for my procedure. Everyone I talked to was very nice and tried their best to make accommodations. I would recommend anyone staying in Durango to stay here as the hotel is very nice and cares about its guests. 10/10 experience and I will be writing to Hilton as well to express my gratitude for their kindness.

Abbiamo camminato intorno a una notte cercando qualcosa da fare, ma intorno a 8PM le cose tendono a chiudere a Durango, ma sembra che l'hotel doveva divertirsi da noi cercando. Torniamo all'hotel e sentimmo la musica del pianoforte di ragtime proveniente dagli hotel collegati saloon. Andiamo, troviamo una sedia e ci rallegriamo insieme al resto della folla che gode della musica e delle storie di Adam Swanson.

Questo è un hotel molto bello. E 'molto pulito. Le camere sono grandi. Eccellente colazione con molte opzioni. L'area da pranzo è molto bello. Il personale da scrivania è molto amichevole e utile. Quando si chiede raccomandazioni di ristorante, mettiti in un elenco di aspettativa al posto popolare. A circa 40 minuti dal Parco Nazionale di Mesa Verde.

JJulie PWe highly recommend the General Palmer Hotel in Durango, Colorado! We have stayed at the General Palmer Hotel on many occasions and our most recent trip was fantastic! We planned to trailer our motorcycle for this trip and prior to making reservations, we contacted management to ensure we would be able to park our truck, trailer, and motorcycle in the hotel’s parking lot. We were ensured that we would be able to do so. Upon arrival, when checking in, we met with Oksana and Amy at the front desk. While speaking with Oksana and mentioning the parking situation, Amy immediately went outside to help with the parking of our vehicles. She didn’t hesitate for a moment to ensure we would be able to park the vehicles with no problem. Soon after, Oksana was outside helping us bring our luggage into our room. The hotel, as always, was clean – from our room to the lobby to the stairwell! It is an old hotel, built in the late 1800s, so if you enjoy history, you will enjoy staying here! We enjoyed the simple FREE breakfast – juice, coffee, Danish, egg/sausage casserole, etc. If you are looking for a more hearty breakfast, we recommend the Durango Diner. But the light FREE breakfast offered near the lobby was fine for us and we enjoyed talking to other guests over coffee. We took the Durango-Silverton Train Ride, so this is the perfect place to stay! If you do not enjoy an occasional train horn, then you may want to look elsewhere – but we enjoy hearing the train! We had the pleasure of staying in the Presidential Suite and the additional living area was perfect for us as we needed to work a bit while on vacation for 8 days. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy! (Note there is another building with additional rooms and there is no elevator in that building. So, if you need an elevator, be sure to ask about staying in the main building.) The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Durango, making it so easy and convenient to walk to restaurants, shops, art galleries and more! We cannot say enough about the hotel’s 2nd floor and 3rd floor patio – the decks overlook the train station, the town of Durango, and you don’t want to miss having a beverage while watching the sunset!

SShawn L OWhether in the bar or the restaurant or the front desk, all of the staff are friendly,efficient and helpful. The food in the restaurant was great. Hotel is in a great location. Right on the river with balconies facing it. It’s only a couple of blocks from the train station and downtown Durango. I do need to point out that the hotel is starting to show its age. Carpeting in the common areas needs to be replaced and the interior has the feel of something built some time ago. However, having said that, they are doing a good job with maintenance of the facility and most importantly, the hotel common areas and rooms were clean.

ZzonghuahuahuahuaLocated just south of town, the hotel is convenient to all areas of Durango. It is on an access road adjacent to a limited-access highway, but it is very easy to get around. The interior corridors on the three-stories are served by an elevator and rooms are comfortable. Every afternoon, there is popcorn and cookies, and in the morning a hot breakfast. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Durango itself is rather congested to drive through, so it is best to go there after 6 pm for free parking, or after 5 pm in municipal lots. If you are going to Mesa Verde, it is a 40 minute drive to the visitors center and 1 hour, 15 minutes to the first historic site. It is in an ideal situation for the park and for Silverton, Delores, and points east. Durango can be expensive to stay in, but I found the prices here more reasonable for all that you get.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and nice rooms with comfortable beds. I would have given them more than 3 stars if our breakfast experience had been better. We stayed 2 days and both mornings there was no milk, no plates and no syrup for the waffles. The staff blamed it on problems with shipping and the fact they didn’t have a hotel credit card to buy it themselves. We and one other guest bought milk for the 2nd morning. Why couldn’t they have done the same?

This is a nice hotel. I travel a lot for work and typically look to save money and this is not your typical Super 8 or budget hotel. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is a full breakfast which is very unusual for an economy hotel as most budget hotels only provide , if at all, a granola bar and coffee. The staff is helpful and polite and they genuinely care which is a testament to management. I have stayed here a few times over the past year and I see updates each time so they are actively updating the hotel. I recommend the hotel for the price it's amazing.

This OVER-PRICED Motel advertises a HOT BREAKFAST and it does NOT deliver, unless you consider one Belgium Waffle maker a hot breakfast. This is a $80 caliber Motel charging $130 only because they can. But for the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR, this place would go bust. The train trip is well worth the visit, but suggest you stay elsewhere for the price. The Young man on the Desk during the day and afternoon was a true delight and is eager to be helpful. Im sure if he treid, he could get a better paying job with real advancement opportunity. The room was marginally clean. The bath tube was not. We were there two nights. It was cleaner after we showred! There is NO nightstand on the left side of the bed. The A/C is an old window unit place high onto a wall over the bath vanity. A bit noisy but it worked. The location is two mile from downtown and the train station. An easy commute.

Il budget Inn ha tutto quello che ci serve per godere di 2 notti a Durango e per guidare il treno Durango-Silverton. Non c'è piscina e il parcheggio è stretto, soprattutto se i camion sono parcheggiati vicino all'ingresso. Non abbiamo avuto problemi di pulizia e abbiamo esattamente quello che ci aspettava per il prezzo.
