This very large hotel in the middle of Andorra has a lot to be recommended for. It is an old hotel but very comfortable. The rooms on the front are very big and have all that is necessary. The bathroom including bath and shower is large. Breakfast is not soffisticated but sufficient. The restaurant is not gourmet but good. Prices are very reasonable. Not all staff speak English but enough to get by.

I would normally have rated this hotel quite highly and been glad to award it the same kind of reviews as it seems so many other people who have used its services have already previously appreciated. However, despite its benefits – and I stress that this really is only based on my personal experience – I left earlier than I intended and with a very bad taste in the pit of my mouth. Let it be understood that in general, Andorra is the kind of place that is totally geared towards screwing whatever money it can out of the tourists who visit – and what happened to me through this hotel was simply another example of this kind of behaviour that is unfortunately evident pretty much everywhere within this country that would like to offer itself as a cultural and lifestyle alternative to Monaco – but has as much chance of doing this as either might Bognor Regis, Benidorm or Larnaca. The bottom line here is that whilst the facilities on offer are perfectly acceptable – though basic, minimalist and quite cramped – the morality behind the Management's treatment of its guests is seemingly only copacetic for as long as the visitor shuts-up, pays-up and has no issues. ... Such as, and by happenstance, was not my case. Unfortunately, due to a burst water pipe emergency in my home above Monaco, I had to leave three days earlier than anticipated. I asked the Hotel if they would be prepared to reimburse me the unused days and they told me to go through *********** – who had taken my reservation – and ask them to contact the Hotel by return with the authorisation for the reimbursement. The Hotel management stated that “normally”, in the case of an emergency, such a request would be favourably received. After two days of back-and-forth with Booking.com's 'faceless' Customer Service, I was informed that it was actually the Hotel who would make this decision. Look – it's not about losing the cost of the extra three nights: I can afford it. No worries there. No – rather is it that the INEFFICIENCY – or purposeful veniality of the staff – actually compounded the growing sour taste in my mouth by SURCHARGING me the Turist Tax TWICE OVER – for a so-called “double booking” – when I had EXPLICITLY reserved as a SINGLE traveller: the added amount being directly and illicitly charged to my Credit Card without my authorisation or any request having been previously made. Furthermore, the way that this was done was in such an underhand manner that it also purportedly laid the onus of the blame on ME because I had supposedly not paid this on Check-Out: when, in fact, I had asked both Receptionists of the previous evening, AND the Night Receptionist - (early on the day of my departure( - whether I was “all paid-up”: and had been assured that I was. Note that I have absolutely NO issue in paying ANYTHING that is legitimately owed. So – CAVEAT – I repeat, this is MY experience: but – frankly – I found it to be generically reflective of an “attitude” held by all the And

Bastante céntrico, a unos 5-8 minutos andando.

UUtente ospiteBooked this hotel through Weekendesk. Yes, I know, I should have booked it directly but weekendesk's offer stated a welcome gift and free bottled water which were non-existent when we arrived. Such a scam, but probably not the hotel's fault. They should check their contract with weekendesk though if they have one. Anyway, Hotel's check in time is a bit late, 16h00. I'm not sure if it is the standard check in time in that area but it is the latest check-in time I've ever had with staying in hotels. We sent a message that we arrived early but the room was not ready when we arrived, which is understandable as they cannot promise early check in. Since we arrived early, the receptionist asked us to do a pre check-in. They don't have their own parking area. You would need to pay and get a card from the hotel which will give you access to the caldea spa parking area right across the street. Pre check in was fast although I find it unecessary for them to ask for identification from all the people that are staying in the room. Usually, in all the places i have stayed in, they would only ask for one ID. But again, maybe it is standard practice in Andorra, i'm not sure. After check-in, we parked our car and walked around the city then enjoyed the caldea spa. We went back to the hotel and was greeted by a male receptionist this time. He barely spoke english and an understandable french, but he was nice. He gave us the keys to the room which was located on the 3rd floor. The room though had two single beds eventhough we booked a double. So We had to ask the receptionist to change our rooms which he quickly did. Although they never offered assistance with luggage. Usually when there is a need to change the room, hotels would usually offer luggage assistance, but it's ok as we managed. Finally got the room with the double bed, and it was ok. Functional but not well kept. A bit dirty and you could see that it needs refurbishment. I see wear and tear all over and the small mirror's extending fixture was broken. Also, the air conditioning didn't deem to work properly as it was quite warm in the room so we just opened the windows. The room had no view and wifi was not very fast. I got disconnected a couple of times Which was frustrating. We had half board, and dinner wasn't very good. Not a lot of options and the food tasted like they were frozen or came from the can and were just heated in the microwave. i don't recommend eating there. Bed and pillows were decent and we slept well. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of sweet and salty options. Although the staff were not really as helpful as the staff during dinner time. Check-out was fast although we had to go back to return The parking card and get our deposit back. They should just give disposable parking tickets next time to lessen the hassle. Overall, it was an ok stay. You get what you paid for, but wouldn't really recommend staying there as there are other better 4 star options in the city. Although it wo
We spent one night in Andorra during a trip mainly to see Barcelona. I chose this hotel because it was a good price, has a spa area and offered parking. The half-board option was also convenient so we wouldn't have to spend extra time deciding on a restaurant for dinner. It worked out really well! Check-in was a breeze and we learned upon check-in that our reservation included time in the hot tub in the spa area. We were expecting to have to pay extra for that, so it was a welcome surprise. Our room was spacious enough for one night and included all the amenities we needed (shampoo, soap, etc). The room faced a rushing stream which was perfect white noise during our sleep. We normally use a white noise app on our phone, but it was not needed this time. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The spa area was nice and we enjoying hanging out in the hot tub after walking around the town for a bit. Our reservation included half board. Dinner was from a fixed menu, but there were some good options to choose from and our meal was tasty. The server was not super friendly, but efficient. Breakfast had good options and variety and we were fueled up perfectly for our drive back to Barcelona for the rest of our trip. Parking is available for an extra fee in a lot down the street from the hotel.
On the Eastern end of the city centre this hotel provided a great base for a short stay in the city and I’d certainly consider again. It looks more like a modern office from the outside but the spacious lobby and bar as soon as you enter always gives a good welcome when you arrive back. There only ever seemed to be one member of staff working the reception desk, so on occasions the queues to check in built up, but otherwise arriving was seamless enough. My room was on the third floor and directly opposite the lifts, which fortunately didn’t cause any disturbance during the night as I originally feared. The room was a good size and although a little basic and dated provided a comfortable stay, along with a nice view towards the centre of the city. The bed was large with a good number of electric sockets at both sides, there was a large desk and although the mini bar was empty there were complimentary bottles of water provided. The bathroom was also a bit dated but perfectly clean and the shower head above the bath was decent. No gowns but the towels were nice enough along with the toiletries and the room gave a decent few night’s sleep. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the roof top bar, so it was a shame this remained closed throughout my stay despite the weather being glorious. Although there’s some nice seating, reading material and the fireplace, the bar on the ground floor isn’t quite as impressive and it’s also a shame it closes promptly by 11pm, despite a member of staff still being there to staff reception. It’s a decent hotel in a good location, surrounded by good restaurant options and walkable to the main spots. With the value it offered I’d recommend and would certainly consider staying again.
We have recently moved to Andorra and were looking for a serviced apartment. We found a one bedroom, living room and a fully-equipped kitchen at Hotel Cosmos. The receptionists were very helpful and very friendly. The room was a bit dated but very clean. We stayed at this hotel almost a month before moving to a furnished apartment, awaiting our residency. The price was very reasonable and the location is great, with 2 supermarkets and a fruit store within a minute walk from the hotel. The laundromat is right opposite which opens daily from 7am to 10pm. A few steps from the shopping mile makes it easy to get around. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel
UUtente ospitePerfect location in Andorra. Very good support with the forfait purchase, the reception helped a lot with them. To highlight the breakfast with lots of options. To remark a bad point probably the heat at the rooms, in February we think that the temperature was so hot.
