"The hotel is ideally situated near the main street in Shuifu. We had no problems getting in and out around town. It is just next to the main square where the Chinese New Year celebrations were held and we had a lovely river view from the window. The reception and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing."

"Vast room with settee, table and chairs, alcove with view on the dam, fridge, huge bathroom and sockets by the bedside. Air-conditioning not working. We had to open the window and it was very hot and humid. Breakfast was varied but Chinese cuisine only. There was toast and butter but no jam. We asked reception to help us get a coach to Yibin and they suggested a very overpriced taxi. The hotel is in a street with no traffic and you cannot stop a taxi yourself so you need to ask locals to give you a decently priced (RMB 60) driver's number."

"Hygienic: clean and tidy. The hotel has been open for some years, but the hygiene is very good. This price is very cost-effective The front desk girl Xiaoling has a good service attitude and is very patient. Will come again next time on business trip. Next to the hotel is the Jinsha River. It's very cool these days, and it's very comfortable to take a walk on both sides. The beef noodles for breakfast are delicious 😋"
Shuifu Mancheng Forest Hotel
"Choosing Mancheng Forest for this short trip exceeded all my expectations! The room was really spacious, and the four-piece bedding set provided by the hotel was super comfortable! It was the best night's sleep I had on the trip! The forest was also very photogenic! Most importantly, everyone at the hotel provided excellent service! There's a small shop inside the hotel with very reasonable prices 👍 When we got hungry at night, the receptionist even brought instant noodles to our room, and to make sure we didn't run out of water, she gave us four extra bottles of spring water 😭😭 Anyway, for around 500 RMB including three meals, it was totally worth it!!! The food was fresh and plentiful; they prepared three dishes and a soup for the two of us for every meal! There was so much to experience; one day wasn't enough 😭 In short, Mancheng! I'll definitely come back next time!"
