Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cadiz

Absolutely outstanding. Staff, cleanliness, location, just wonderful. Parking lot was a little tricky in our large truck. The wheelchair ramp was also tricky because the parking lot is small. However, the accessible room with adjoining room was really great.

This was a very well kept property in a beautiful small town, Cadiz, Ohio. I travel frequently spending a lot of time in big cities. I greatly enjoy seeing small town America for a change. The free breakfast was good. The east facing rooms have nice sunrise views from the third floor.

I live in hotels and this is a gem. Super clean awesome staff those are two of the biggest and most important things about any hotel. This has to be the cleanest microtel I have ever stayed in. And one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Easy access from the highway. I only wish it was easier to find places like this I would recommend this highly. I actually drive extra miles to stay here as opposed to the Holiday inn in Weirton.

We stayed one night after attending a wedding in the area. Arrived on a rainy night and was greeted by Bailey at the front desk. Very sweet and welcoming. Room was nice, quiet and clean. Breakfast area the next morning was kept clean and options were more extensive than I had expected. Chris was at the front desk when we checked out and was also very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I were in the area.

Great location just outside downtown Cadiz with a Wendy's, McDonald's, and a drugstore within walking distance. Beds are firm but comfortable. All beds are queen-size. Breakfast was basic but good--juice, coffee, waffles, toast-bagels, oatmeal packets, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Staff members were friendly and helpful.

Very nice, clean, well-serviced room with complimentary breakfast that is excellent. Very nice staff! Each day when I returned from work my room was taken care of, bed made, coffee service replenished, and the staff is professional and friendly.

Would love to come back when I have time to tour the countryside and do some fishing on Tanner Lake. Cadiz is an old town, love the old architecture, but Microtel is contemporary and up to date. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and very comfortable.

This was my first time staying at a Microtel hotel. I did not realize that the rooms were so small. The air conditioner is literally 3 feet away from the bed and if you wish to keep cool, will have the fan blowing on you all night. As a business traveler, I desire more space, but because this hotel was close to the business operation I was visiting I chose it. Overall the stay was good and the room that I was in was clean. The breakfast selection is 99.9% carbohydrate. There is no hot breakfast and one day the milk was on the last day of expiration, and when I drink it, the milk was sour. The bed I was in was not entirely uncomfortable, and I will leave. The pillow was the main culprit. I am a back sleeper and in the morning my back was sore. If you are looking for a spacious room, then I would skip the Microtel chain. If you like efficiency, then this is your place. I spent some time in Japan and every room there is very tiny and efficient. This stay reminded me of my time in Japan.

The employees make this hotel our choice They are exceptional in their approach to assisting the guest. We appreciate that they know all the businesses and best directions to travel. They’re close to all the small towns.
