Very conveniently located in a residential area with markets, restaurants and even a hospital at 5-6 minutes walking distance. Rooms are neat and clean. All basic amenities are provided. Staffs are very polite and took extra effort to attend our additional needs. Also breakfast served was very delicious. Overall a delightful experience staying at cassiopeia guest house. Would like to visit again

The property is very well maintained and cozy and beautiful. The level of care and dedication exhibited by your staff surpassed our highest expectations, leaving an indelible mark on me. The personalized greetings and the seamless check-in process immediately set the tone . Appreciate team members Mr.PURUSHOTTAM, Ms.JOGITA , Ms.DEEPIKA , Ms.MAMATA Mr.STEVEN, Ms.KELLY for their exceptional assistance and graciousness. Their knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile in accommodating my requests was greatly appreciated. check out and concierge service was perfect. Mr. PAVAN (Restaurent /F&b Manager) took out time to interact with me at length. He explained so many nuances and things going on behind scenes to make restaurants run smoothly and how each guest is different and their taste buds and preferences are unique and how his team handles each of them very carefully and with heart .His professionalism and genuine care for dining experience did not go unnoticed. Mr.RAJEEV was wonderful chef and human being and as I have very long list of intolerances, health condition they considered all of them and cooked special meals for me and taking care of my health during this solo travel. My further travel completely depended on this particular trip and they ensured it was absolutely perfect as I required. He even got me special food packed for flight . I could travel to Darjeeling, Shillong, delhi, gurgaon and currently at dehradun now .Thanks to your team boosting my confidence I congratulate Mr. JAMES ( Operations - Head) to put up such a wonderful young team and maintaining highest standards of hospitality and taking care of guests.His hospitality nature, one on one conversation and having breakfast with me and talking at length on various things is highly appreciated. Clean and comfortable stay. Rooms a modern with comfortable bedding and great showers. I slept like a baby! The gym has some cardio equipment and a solid set of dumbbells (and usually pretty quiet). If you go want a great workout, hit up Amarveer! He’ll put you through a great workout, he’s really knowledgeable and has great exercises to put variety in your session. Verdy, Mery, and Daphi at reception were wonderful and very helpful making sure we got the most out of our stay in Shillong.

Absolutely worth it! We only stayed at the pear tree for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Even with one night the owner and staff made such an impression. The room is elegant (beautifully furnished) with original hardwood floors and a proper place for your luggage. We needed to arrange a driver to go to the airport, they booked us one right away. If you are coming to Shillong, this is the place to stay. The location is great, the people are incredibly friendly, and breakfast is provided. The taxi driver didn’t know how to get to it at first but the hotel staff happily got on the phone with the driver and we had no problems getting there after that. If you need any suggestions on where to go they also have great knowledge of the area and surrounding areas. We hope to come again.

UUtente ospiteLocation is the best just in a bylane in police bazar stone throw distance from the market. Front desk was very cordial specially suffer they helped us through out our stay. Rooms were very small but very clean with clean toilet and necessary toilateries and warm water. Breakfast was awesome with options for pancakes puri bhagi lots of seasonal fruits juices and veg cutlets. Eggs. They have a small parking I would love to recommend it to anyone who loves a clean hotel near market

GguruprasadhnOrange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

UUtente ospiteWe were a group and we booked the suite. It is a huge room with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. 5 people can comfortably stay there and it also has 2 private balconies. The first night was terrible for us as in such a huge room there was just one small wall fan and hence we had to open the windows which resulted in a swarm of mosquitos coming in as it faces the lawn. As it is zostel, there was no service at night and the next morning we raised a complaint to the ***ager. He was the most helpful ***ager I have ever seen. He got everything done within hours and post that our stay was pleasant and so wonderful that we also extended for 2 more nights. The entire staff is very accomodating, good to talk to and soft spoken. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they also cater to individual needs. The only drawback is that they are extremely slow. If the cafe is full, do not expect your order to be served for an hour. Morning breakfast times, we would give the order, go to the room.. have a bath and get ready and still the order would not have been prepared.. Coffees and drinks are given in a jiffy.. But nevertheless, they also catered to serve us at late hours by keeping the food ready for us even after the restaurant shut down. Overall, it is a wonderful stay.. There are some hiccups (which all hostels have unless you opt for a 5 star hotel) but the best part is they listen to your grievances and act immediately. A big kudos to Santosh - without his help, we would have been in a terrible soup.. He definitely deserves a raise.. Thank You Santosh for everything!

UUtente ospiteI booked a room in this hotel through a reference but my experience was not good. My reasons are listed below. 1: The hotel ran out of water in the morning. This has never happened with since I habe started yravelling for business for the past 22 years. When you charge close to 4K, then you should ensure the basics like water supply and electricity. 2: I was also kept waiting for 45 minutes for black color water. I finally bought mineral water bottles for brushing etc. After a long wait they p4oduced a clean bucket full.of water. This entire experience pushed us 90 minutes behind schedule. 3: For breakfast we had to order rather than serve our selves . This service was extremely slow. This is not expected specially at 9am. The hotel should be prepared for serving guests at 7 am. 4: Check out process was slow. No wonder what will happen if there are 10 guests at a time. 5: The 2 stars are for the comfortable bed.
