Molto bello hotel ho avuto un soggiorno meraviglioso Hotel è nel mezzo della polizia basar Inoltre l'hotel stesso ha un centro commerciale Amore il posto più fantastico Meteo è fantastico Personale e servizi complessivi sono eccellenti Food is delicious Ci sono diversi posti per visitare Visiteremo di nuovo. Grande posizione, grande cibo, personale pulito e incredibile. Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto comodo e memorabile. Il cibo è davvero magnifico hanno un ristorante puro vegetariano, devono provare la loro cucina indiana speciale dal mahani, aloo dum. La maggior parte dei luoghi consigliati per visitare e rimanere in shilong.

We visited there for dinner,we appreciate iada and sony for their wonderful service as the resturant had a great ambience , food was good , the buffet spread was lavish for which we enjoyed the meal and family time .. the front desk staff were welcoming with their smile , Elli and shemlad helping us with the bags and rishot guiding us to the resturant .. quite professional ...

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

The resort Roinam retreat is a decent place to stay for a larger group. Pros: a. Resort arrangement b. Food c. Rooms cleanliness. Everyday it is cleant and our belongings are safe and secure. d. Front office (Miss Priya and team is very friendly and approachable) . We had a medical emergency one night and the front office team did not hesitate to help us to their best. They accompanied us to the nearby hospital - Hats-off Cons Location - its a bit interior and vey little access to any shops, but on the other hand it gives a very calm and near to nature atmosphere Food - We were veg group so not many options Breakfast - The menu is standard and repeats alternate days. No options at all Food area - Reception and food area is the same so felt very cramped. Power fluctuation - Although they have generator backup, during metered power the voltage falls low even the fan finds it difficult to run.
