"I ate here whilst holidaying in Sheringham. The food was excellent especially the steak and Barnsley chop cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. As a single traveler I felt welcomed and appreciated. Would recommend the two lifeboats to all."

"Rimasi qui, al Monte Lavinia per due notti.Parcheggio facile, vicino. La stanza era solo a destra - abbondante stanza, v.comfy letto, corretta quantità di luci, socket, TV, due grandi sedie a braccia comode, tè, caffè, asciugacapelli, abbondante spazio di stoccaggio - poteva anche nascondere le valigie! Bella camera da bagno pulita, abbastanza spazio, leghe, ganci, ecc. per risolvere le cose! Colazione in piedi, comoda, molta scelta - yogurt, pochi cereali, frutta fresca, una scelta di pasticceria, crema, bacon, pane. E una bella giovane ragazza Maya che era lì per aiutare, consigliare, chat. Un soggiorno molto piacevole, grazie."

"Apartment was clean but poorly stocked for clothes storage and not enough crockery for 4 people. We paid £96 deposit which they said would be refunded after our visit but despite several emails and messages on their answaphone we have not received a refund. What is going on?"

"This place calls itself a boutique Hotel & that is an under statement. The greeting by the owners & staff is warm & welcoming,the Restaurant is marvelous,the food is 5star & Matt one of the Chef's is a credit to the quality of Bertie's. Sally & Joanna have put their stamp on this place which was beautiful any but even more so now. We would have no hesitation in booking here again. Thank you all at Bertie's."

Holway House

"Perfect host. Awesome Breakfast. Perfect stay. Lucy is an incredible host; so bubbly, knowledgeable and friendly as well as being very talented ( home made jams and choice of decor ). John is a brilliant cook. Our Full English breakfast was superb. The bacon definitely one of the best we've ever had anywhere. The fruit for breakfast was also top quality and there is a good choice of cereal and yogurt too as well as the home made jam and marmalade. We stayed in the first floor room 1 which was beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is a spar bath and shower in the bathroom. My first bath for over 5 years so that was very good. Holway House is nice and close to the town centre for walking to good places to eat in the evening and beach. It might be on a main road into Sheringham but the room was very quiet and we didn't hear any traffic noise. Thank you very much Lucy and John."
