Excellent Hosts could not be more accommodating, staff really friendly and helpful. Food really amazing, comfortable and spacious room.

Hunters Moon B&B 2 night stay whilst visiting Sherborne. Decent sized en-suite room next to the pub. No pub or road noise. Lovely evening meal and great breakfast. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my stay. However, on Friday evening they played the same disco song on repeat for hours and hours. I didn’t complain but surprised no one did. Still, highly recommend!

A Little Gem In Dorset. Conveniently located for touring Dorset with ready access to the countryside and coastal walking. Good selection of beers and ciders. Efficient staff and food options to suit all tastes. The option to have small prtions at dinner was very welcome and more hotels and pubs would do well to follow Dean's lead.

Little Gem with special Hosts I had a brilliant stay at Hunters moon, Dean and his wife made me welcome as soon as I Came through the door. The Atmosphere was amazing and Dean was a real gentleman who was always looking out for me he was accommodating and always made sure I had all I needed. All the staff and residents made you feel like you had been there for years. They address me by name and ensured I received everything I requested. Thanks Dean for being a true professional Host and to all your staff, food was amazing and well priced, I can’t thank you enough for the hospitality you provided.

Not great! Unfortunately I was made to feel uncomfortable with confusion over the booking, the young lady was slightly abrasive and spoke very loudly regarding the mix up of my booking. The key was shoved at me and I asked where to go, fortunately another member or staff stepped in and took me to my room. I had to ask for the breakfast menu which I have to say was pretty limited and not very clear that there would be cereal on offer in addition. The outside was tatty, simple things like sweeping up the leaves would have made it feel clean. My bed was so soft and uncomfortable, dripping tap, something on the floor which looked like …… I won’t even say!! I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Not good value for the price I paid. I will say that the gentleman that served breakfast was extremely friendly as was the other young staff member that showed me to my room….. the lady who served me behind the bar could do with some training on how to make a guest feel more welcome.
