Great budget-friendly place to stay for a night as a foreigner. The surrounding area is beautiful and the staff is polite. Metro Station is at walking distance and Port Hospital (for the foreigners who want to get their Physical Examination done) is also very close to this hostel.

Looks older than the pictures, and lackoff consistancy cleaning. Toilet in the bedroom, conveience but make noise at night.

A few more days in this cozy friendly feeling place. As before highly recommend this place for all budget travellers. Excellent location with a lot of different types of transportation, plenty of fast food restaurants and grocery stores around, friendly and very helpful staff and good rooms

Nice big hostel in an area conveniemtly located near a metro station, easy to get there. The location on the map is a bit wrong. You have to go to the building right across the street (north). The receptionist was very friendly, even though her english level was bad. It's an big old place, a bit worn-out, but has a family feel to it. Maybe the people.staying there live there? Mostly local. Saw a couple of travelers too. It's a walking distance from the cultural old district. The wifi is a bit slow. The beds are a bit hard and the toilets squat style, but fornthe price I paid, I have no complaints.

Lobby and common room is a bit spartan but the double bedroom is exceptionally comfortable and spacious.

1) The hostel is 7 minutes from the nearest metro station. 2) Cleanliness needs to be improved and the mattress is quite thin. 3) Mouldy room and toilets. Cigarette smokes can be smelled even if smoking is prohibited in the building. 4) The female receptionist is very helpful. Suitable for a night.

The place is good and clean. A bit away from Subway Station. For me the location on Google maps was not correct, but the location on trip.com is

Primarily aircon in the room not working well never get cold that is why I xan sleep well secod so many cockroach in bed its friom ceiling it is scary ir might go to my ear when I sleep thats why i put my headphones. Will not stay here again. Note: You can see below on pic in differentb location in my bed cockroach around.

I only slept there. For a foreigner it's the type that is suitable if u just want somewhere to sleep for a night not stay for 2+days. a was For such setup i'm happy, but for 2 nights it might not be convenient. The toilets are squat toilets. Need to rent the towel for 10rmb. No slippers. The area is very big with many local people who all share the toilet. Had to pay 50rmb for lost key as well.

Staff checked me in without incident, common area was partially filled with guest from the hostel side. Room was clean and neat but as you might guess it was sparse / not many amenities (hair dryer, tooth brushes, towels). Shower was not separate from the rest of bathroom. Bed was rather firm. Stairway approach to second floor entrance was not decorated. Good if you want a place to stay overnight. Not to hang out in the room but hanging out in the common area might be nice. Would stay there again but if on a date you likely want a nicer place.

Staff was quite nice despite me not knowing Chinese. It’s located in a pretty easy to find location as well. I’d strongly recommend. Only thing is it’s squat toilet which I don’t like.
