The hygiene standards at the Huaqiangbei Intercity Hotel are excellent. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything is clean and well cared for. The bedding is fresh and spotless, with no odors or hair. The bathroom is also very clean. Guests can choose between pillows of different thicknesses, and items like insect repellent and umbrellas are provided to suit the local weather. Even the mouthwash cups are sealed. These thoughtful details make the stay both comfortable and reassuring. The hotel clearly values cleanliness and guest comfort.

This trip’s hotel pick turned out to be an absolute delight—every detail from check-in to checkout felt thoughtful and well-executed, making it a stay that truly exceeded all expectations. As soon as we pulled up by car, the doorman was quick to greet us, help with our luggage, and guide us to a parking spot. The parking lot was spacious and neatly organized, with staff on hand to assist with directing, so even new drivers could park without stress, no need to circle around searching for a spot. Checking in was a breeze too; the front desk staff had warm, welcoming smiles, verified our info efficiently, and even asked if we preferred a specific floor. Knowing we wanted a quiet stay, they promptly assigned us a high-floor room on the inner side, while also walking us through the hotel’s key facilities and service times—breakfast is on the 4th floor from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, perfect for early risers rushing to catch a schedule or late sleepers who don’t want to miss a hot meal; supper is served daily from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, ideal for refueling after a late night out; afternoon tea runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, a cozy spot to unwind; plus, there’s a self-service laundry room and gym in the same area, taking care of both laundry and workout needs in one go. They even reminded us about the temperature difference between morning and evening nearby, suggesting we bring a light jacket—this small, thoughtful touch won us over right away. Stepping into the room was a pleasant surprise—there was no stuffy odor, just fresh, well-ventilated air, and the lighting was fantastic, bright and airy even without turning on the lights at noon. The room was much more spacious than we’d imagined; the twin beds had plenty of space between them, leaving room for suitcases and a small stool without feeling cramped. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, fluffy yet supportive, and the mattress had just the right firmness—after a long, tiring day of traveling, lying down made all the soreness in our backs fade away, and we slept soundly both nights without any aches. The cleanliness was impeccable too—desktops and windowsills were dust-free, there was no grime in the depths of the wardrobe, the bathroom glass was spotless without water stains, the floor was dry with no puddles, and even the gaps around the sink were wiped clean, right down to the inside of the toilet. We felt totally comfortable walking barefoot on the bathroom mat or sitting on the carpet. The toiletries came in sleek pump bottles with a light, non-irritating fragrance—they lathered well and rinsed off easily, and there were extra cotton pads and swabs, covering all the essential needs for female travelers. Each side of the bed had two USB ports and power sockets, so we could charge our phones, tablets, and power banks all at once without tangled wires or scrambling for outlets—such a humanized design. The service during our stay was warm and reassuring through and through.

The service was very good. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was also very good.
