"DoubleTree da Hilton Sheffield City è esattamente quello che ho bisogno durante il mio viaggio d'affari.Comfortabile, affidabile e tranquillo gentile. Da quando sono arrivato, il check-in era liscio e benvenuto, e il primo cookie caldo si sentiva come un piccolo ma vero gesto di cura dopo un lungo viaggio.
La posizione è conveniente, vicino al centro della città, ma tranquilla abbastanza da riposare, rendendo facile il movimento tra le riunioni e il tempo personale, cosa che apprezzo davvero.
La stanza era moderna, pulita e tranquilla. Il letto era comodo, la luce era morbosa, e tutto funzionava perfettamente. Non era di lusso, ma di conforto pensato che ti aiuta a ricarre.
La colazione ha una buona varietà e il ristorante ha un ambiente tranquillo che ha reso le mattine più facili.
La cosa più evidente era la coerenza, e ogni parte del soggiorno si sentiva affidabile e ben curata, e questo senso di stabilità rendeva facile rilassarsi e concentrarsi sull’obiettivo del viaggio.

"An easy to find location and close to the town. The reception staff were friendly and the area was spotless. The room was as described. Am not keen on the bathrooms with clear glass you can see into though. The hand soap and shower gel were so lovely, great smell. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels were huge and fluffy. The bed was rather hard but fine for one night. I was on the second floor and could feel the vibrations of the trams running which was not great. Good for a one night stop but not a longer stay."

"A business hotel without any facilities except a restaurant. Room is relatively small not even a small freezer. Breakfast is good. However, bad experience with housekeeping. No service for the room only the first day. The maid just changed the towels and did nothing to the room including the toilet. I have to request for daily clean up at the front desk. On the third day, found a large plastic bag with rubbish in my room probably the maid forgot to take out. The bag included other rubbish not from my room."

"Really nice hotel for the price, the area is a bit dodgy but the staff was very helpful, near the city centre and train station so it's pretty convenient and there's a tram stop just 2 mins away. Overall pretty good"

WWater5La posizione è molto conveniente. Il lobby dell'hotel non è grande ma molto pulito e confortevole. La stanza è pulita, ci sono sorprese, si aspetta di restare la prossima volta.

KkatieWe loved our stay at Radisson Blu. The only downside was the Air Con not working properly, they are really hot rooms and the windows dont open.
However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious.
It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me.

OOshunniyiMy check was lovely. Easy process. Was given all the necessary information to make my stay worthwhile such as WiFi and lift process. The Italian gentleman at the reception was awesome, he even gave me ideas of where to go. I ended up taking his advice and enjoyed my night out.
In morning it was a new unfriendly cold face. I asked if she had any tissues she told me no and I had to go to the toilet for that. I collected my complimentary breakfast which I totally appreciated by the hotel . As I sat to eat my croissants in the other room, I heard another gentleman ask if he could take some extra croissants and Kas responded that he could and she even offered him blue roll. I was astonished. She shared the same excitement with another lady, complimenting her dress etc whereas I didn't not even get a warm greeting from her.
This was very disappointing. I will not be staying here again nor will I be recommending it to other friends or family members. The discrimination was obvious and would not want to expose my loved ones to Kas's behaviour.
I asked her name as I intended to make a complaint. Very disappointing for my first trip to Sheffield.

UUtente ospiteThe Air conditioning is centrally regulated. It was too hot and the room was poorly ventilated. Breakfast was not as good as the Hinckley Leonardo hotel. The quality of food was poor. The mushrooms were dry , scrambled eggs watery. No hash browns or explanation of their absence. The fruits juices tasted like they had been diluted down . No hot chocolate, but chocolate milk. At the gluten free station no Jams

RRyan WindsorRobin, on the reception desk, was very professional and friendly and gave me a very warm welcome and a great first impression.
The hotel, being directly attached to the Winter Garden, has a great central location and is less than ten minutes by foot to the train station (which is all wheelchair and suitcase accessible).
All the breakfast staff were also attentive and helpful even early in the morning.

MMengskyI wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

JJohn SalinskyThe Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as far as they could be. On the first day of our stay ( Christmas Day) there were parties going on and we had to go up several flights of stairs to get to the breakfast buffet. Everything was a little hard to find but the food was good when available. The ample grounds were an additional attraction as were the huge trees in the spacious garden.
On Christmas Day there were lots of staff looking after the various parties.On the last day, however, ther was only one poor unfortunate waiter in attendance! He did his best but it was impossible for him to keep the buffet food items fully refreshed. He had to do this as well as clearing plates etc from tables. We thought that the lack of any other waiting staff was due to the unavailability of staff from the European Union.
The bedroom facilities needed repairs which were unattended to. In particular, the control knob of the central heating radiator had fallen off and could not be replaced. The radiator was on night and day and also made an irritating noise through most of the night.
We stayed three nights in the hotel from 24th to 27th December 2023.
IN summary, we thought that the hotel could be restored to it's original splendour but would need a substantial investment to improve its standard.
The once magnificent hotel seemed sadly neglected because of lack of investment.
Otherwise the room was satisfactory. But sleep was difficult until we got more used to the noise at night.
In summary, we thought that the hotel needed a lot of money spending on it to improve the facilities and make dure there were enough staff.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel was not easy to find but the staff did assist us promptly. There was an issue up with the accommodation, upon reporting this our accommodation was upgraded immediately. There stay was good. The food was excellent. The only thing I will say is that the cleanliness of some of the rooms, need to be addressed and also the maintence needs to be addressed also.

WWeiNice and clean big room for a couple. In particular, I found the bedsheets, toilet and carpet nice and clean. Good central location. It was also the first time in my many travels I found a heated towel rail in the shower room/toilet that actually worked, meaning for the days we stayed there our towels stayed dry.
Lots of parking spaces at the front and back of the building at £9 per day. I also quite liked the traditional building style, including stairs inside - definitely different from many cheap modern hotel buildings relying on cheap lifts.
Finally, the receptionists at the reception were all excellent - professional and friendly and very helpful in meeting our needs, such as providing extra tea bags and milk and information on walking around the area.
Happy to recommend and stay there again.
