Sheffield: hotel con bar

Penso che il lato inferiore sia il layout e la configurazione del sistema di piombo che drenano acqua dopo una doccia, che fa l'inondazione tutta la camera da bagno/toilet direttamente nella camera da letto e potrei rilevare alcuni danni acqua sulle pareti e sui tavoli di scarico. In generale, il soggiorno è stato buono se solo la questione sollevata poteva essere risolta

Il prezzo non è alto, la pulizia della camera è standard e la colazione è OK. È una scelta conveniente. Fino a Sheffield abbiamo alloggiato in piccoli hotel. Quando siamo arrivati ​​​​in hotel normali, abbiamo sentito gli standard dei marchi internazionali. La camera ha 2 letti ed è molto confortevole.

It is a very nice hotel, spacious room and friendly staff. They listened to my request. I had requested for a room near the elevator because I have walking difficulties, and they managed to give me a room right opposite the elevator. Besides , the environment of the restaurant where we had breakfast was good, also quite a lot of food and choice of drinks. Many thanks.

The positives: Very centrally located, which is both advantage and a disadvantage (see below). Reasonably priced, extremely comfortable beds, high water-pressure shower. That was pretty much what we wanted when we arrived exhausted and grubby after a long journey. A minor negative: the in-house catering options are very limited beyond bar snacks; but there’s dozens of restaurants within walking distance. The major negative, and potentially a deal-breaker if it’s important to you: beware the rooms that overlook the square behind the hotel. There are a number of bars with late music licenses, and you simply won’t get any sleep AT ALL unless you’re in the bar and return to the room after closing time. We’re not talking “a bit of mild disturbance”, either - it’s “making things on the table in the room rattle” levels of bass, “singalong with Rhianna in bed” levels of volume. When I initially complained at about midnight, I got a “what do you expect, we’re a city centre hotel” response followed by complimentary earplugs followed by a move to a room on the other side of the hotel after I used my “are you kidding me” face. I was very tired, and very unhappy. Kudos to the duty manager for sorting it out, minus some kudos for trying to fob me off initially. Somehow I get the feeling that I’m far from the first person to arrive at the front desk with a “*** is this a hotel or a nightclub??” face. To be fair to the management, there’s not a lot they can do about their neighbours apart from try to get the offending licenses revoked (which I was led to believe they’re trying to do). Trying to sell those rooms most-affected on a weekend just isn’t going to work, though. It really is that loud and disturbing. Elsewhere it’s a decent hotel - it’s missing some of the bells and whistles which would justify the term “luxury”, maybe - but that level of noise pollution in the affected areas is way outside what could be considered acceptable. My 2c - stay here by all means, but call ahead and make absolutely sure you’re not in the noisy rooms, and be prepared to either get assertive with the front desk or divert to a quieter establishment.

A very friendly welcome from the staff on reception, very efficient check in. The hotel is in a pretty good location for exploring central Sheffield. Rooms are basic and the hotel a little dated but that is expected at this price point. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Non scrivo spesso recensioni, ma mi sentivo obbligato a seguire una così brillante esperienza. Mi sono fermato qui per quattro notti quando frequentavo un corso di formazione del lavoro. Alcuni dei membri del personale erano così amichevoli e utili e non potevano fare abbastanza per voi. Debbie, James e Harry, che sono un credito all’hotel, mi hanno fatto sentire comodo quando viaggiavo in un momento così difficile. Mi sono fermato durante la seconda chiusura e era davvero un piacere. Il cibo era delizioso, l'hotel era facile da trovare e la mia stanza era bella e pulita. Ci sono già decorazioni di Natale, che mi hanno fatto davvero felice! Grazie per tutto, riporterò la mia famiglia quando il mondo è un posto più sicuro.

When I arrived at this hotel the 2 staff behind the counter were having an important discussion but politely acknowledged me saying they wouldn't be a moment. However check in was not until 3pm but they let me leave my luggage in their storage area so I could go for a wander in the city. When I returned I was checked in promptly by the gentleman behind the desk and found I had a room on the top floor. However one minor mishap that happened was when I entered my room, a really bad odour hit my nose and then I noticed a wet patch on the carpet. I went back to the reception to report and the young lady (who had long black hair and wore glasses) was very efficient in coming up with me so I could show her in person what the problem was. She did sincerely apologise and thankfully there was an engineer in the building who would promptly get on with fixing it. As for me I got moved to another room and I completely forgot to ask for a desk fan as it was a warm day. So I went back down to reception and asked the same young lady for it who was extremely helpful in getting one organised for me. I even thanked her and complimented her helpfulness There is a good chance I will visit Sheffield again in the future, but if I do I will certainly stay here at this hotel because of how well organised the staff are when it comes to doing their job in keeping customers happy.

Had a lovely stay here and they even added a nice little touch as we had just got married. Only downside was that there was no bottled water provided in the room. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Sono Benny Mok (il nome del registro è WAI-FU MOK), ci sono trascorso tre giorni a Room 211 da 31/7/2022 a 2/8/2022 in estate & ho trovato che tutte le strutture dell'hotel erano fantastiche e sono molto soddisfatto. L'unica carenza era che il suono strano era lungo quando si spruzzava nel bagno.Potrebbero esserci alcuni problemi nel tubo di vasca da bagno. In caso contrario, consiglio fortemente questo hotel cuz tutti i membri del personale dell'hotel ARE SUPER AMBIENTE, benvenuto, gioioso, cura, comprese le signore di custodia! Infine, il receptionista ~KARRA RIPPON. karra era il più paziente, utile, amichevole, dedicato, amorevole, pensante e cura personale intorno all'interno e non c'è dubbio! Lei potrebbe condividere questo messaggio ispirante con questo eccellente ricevitore e dirle che il messaggio ispirante è stato da una famiglia di immigrati di Hong Kong?

I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Victoria for any conference or large-scale event; the team here, in particular Emily Evans, were friendly, outgoing and went above and beyond to ensure that our conference ran smoothly. Before arriving at the hotel, the team was in constant contact with our team to ensure that our delegates rooms were booked, our menu selection for our formal dinner was confirmed and that dietary requirements would be met. Furthermore, after highlighting that some of our delegates would be observing Ramadan, the team not only provided packed breakfasts for these delegates so that they could continue to take part in suhoor, signage was created to highlight where the prayer room would be over the course of our stay. As the Crowne Plaza Victoria is a hotel there will be other guests who have booked their rooms months in advance, once the team realised that we would be six rooms short, the hotel across the road was contacted to enquire whether they had any availability to accommodate our overflow. Once confirmed that they did, all we had to do was inform the team who would be staying at this hotel and their dietary requirements; the fact that the Crowne Plaza was so proactive in providing a solution to a problem we were not aware of was so greatly appreciated and highlighted to us that this was a venue/ team which wanted to ensure that we and our delegates had the best time with them before we had even arrived! In addition to this, the team’s dedication to ensuring that our conference ran smoothly was further highlighted by Emily physically moving the tables all by herself when we realised that the position of certain tables obstructed the view of the presentation. All requests such as; additional labelling for food, temperature control of the main room were completed swiftly, even by hotel staff whom were not directly assigned to looking after us. All the food provided was amazing, whether it was lunch, snacks or the food served at dinner, you could tell that an incredible amount of detail was given. I could not recommend this hotel and team enough!
