Wingate by Wyndham Sheboygan

We arrived later into the night… well 2am, and were greeted by someone happy to help us. Good rate and felt so good to be able to finally relax and go. Also let us have a later checkout. Which was also appreciated. Went shopping and enjoyed having all the options in the world for us to choose to eat or shop at.

The Travelodge is obviously under construction, and they are looking for customers. The rate we obtained was good, but they service recieved could have been MUCH better.

Being right downtown, it’s very easy to get to a lot of places nearby, especially great restaurants.

Remodeling so everything disarray. Elevator was dirty, to get into pool employee had to let you in, no vending machines for after store hours. The heater cover came off in room. Employees hard to understand.

Property is in massive upgrading and disrepair. Online Travelocity photos of hotel are sooooo wrong. Our room had a window, with no crank, busted and stuck open. Wind blowing right in the window. I felt bad for front desk staff having to check in customers at the front desk that is horrendous. They should close it, finish it, and reopen. If not...level the building and sell the land.

Was told that there was breakfast in the morning. It was an empty container of cereal. Some waffles that did not taste good and bread. It was also dirty and the lobby and the beds were tiny

The first night we went to the pool, no towels! We go to our room to shower, no hot water. The morning we go for breakfast and there is one piece of bread, 4 small hard as a rock powder sugar doughnuts. The waffle iron did not work we needed more mix and more syrup and plates and cups and for them raving about breakfast, it was terrible. Take the kids swimming which at first was we just put chemical in and you have to wait to just go ahead and go. They promised hot water but after swimming no hot water for a shower. I called the man into feel it and he tried to say it was warm when it was cold. There were no extra bags in the room or a phone no extra soap or anything. The remote did not work, it was the worst stay I have ever had unfortunately and it looks like they are remodeling making it nicer but it was dirty

Pool was green and the hot tub was cold. Tried to take a shower and the water wasn't warming up at all. No tv channels to watch so we hooked up Roku but even then the WiFi was so laggy that it buffered every 5 minutes. Boxes everywhere in the hallway and trash piling up by the garbage in the hallways. I wouldn't go back

My stay at Travel Lodge was very nice. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I didn’t like that the hotel was behind a store where you could barely notice it. I also didn’t like that the people that ran the hotel ran the store as well. They were never at the hotel desk, you had to go to the store to talk to them.
