It features a one and a half-car garage, two bathrooms, and a spacious fenced-in yard. The interior has been upgraded with new hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, and front-facing windows. Two fireplaces with fireplace glass add to the cozy atmosphere. As our newest VRBO, we also have amazing mattresses that guests ask what brand it is. The removal of walls creates an open concept in the dining, kitchen, and living areas. The custom-made sofas from Floyd and two comfy barrel chairs offer ample seating. The laundry is conveniently located on the main floor, and guests have the option to park in the garage. Since I love to cook, the house has all kinds of small appliances (two types of coffee makers-regular & Keurig plus a small air fryer) and cooking utensils. The TV is a Smart TV with an antenna, connected to high-speed internet, Roku, and DVR. It includes all local channels and allows for recording and access to popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon. We thoroughly clean and sanitize all bedding, including quilts and mattress protectors, between guests. For a contactless check-in process, we provide a smart lock with a unique code for each guest. Our home is just a short 5-minute drive from the highway, making it convenient for guests traveling to downtown or the Plaza area. It is also within 1.5 miles from Advent Health Hospital and 8 miles from KU Medical Center. The only time you might cross paths with someone else would be by the stocked pond, campfire ring, raised garden beds or tire tree swing. A mix between old & new the KC unit boasts a range of amenities & history that makes Kansas City, KC.The spaceA bit of the old & some of the new we bring KC to life in this mix of past & present. How did KC become a city? What is this city made of? Where is it going? While you find the answers to these questions.........relax! Find peace on the patio & enjoy the fountain, fire pit & company as you enjoy a glass of local wine & the pond out back. If the out doors don't call you, chance your hand at cards inside instead of the larger KC casinos.
