Just returned from our 5th stay at Brooke House, it really is the best home from home you could find...Great room, spacious, bright and airy, super comfortable and scrupulously clean. Breakfast by Steve is amazing and plentiful, evening meal is by arrangement and very popular.....Brooke House will always be our favourite place to stay and we both look forward to seeing Hana and Steve again next year!

Always a friendly welcome upon arrival. The single room (No. 4) has a comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe, good sized shower room/toilet and is nicely decorated. I chose to have a 'Full English' breakfast each morning and there is a choice cereal as well together with toast and jams/marmalade, tea or coffee all perfectly presented and excellently cooked. The evening meal menu changes each day and is always presented and cooked to a high standard. It is what I would call traditional home cooking which just suits me! I have been visiting Brooke House for over 10 years which indicates how pleased I am with everything.

An excellent place to stay. It was my third visit. Everything was to my satisfaction. Meals were superb - It is not the place to go if you are on a diet...!!!! Lots of lovely places to visit on the island. Never a dull moment. Only problem was that the time passed far too quickly..!!

You will not be disappointed with your stay at Brooke House Shanklin. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good choice on breakfast menu and three course evening meal, all home cooked. Well situated for Island train or excellent local busses.

Very comfortable and well appointed room (No.4). All food - breakfasts and the optional evening meal cooked and served to perfection. Good location for access to the railway station and the buses on the island. I've been visiting Hana & Steve for over 10 years now and Brooke House is as fresh, clean and welcoming as it was the very first time. You will be hard pressed to find anywhere on the island better to stay.

Hi, I am a polish 15 yo kid and I'd like to share my experience at Brooke House. The bed and the pillow are the hardest I have ever touched. The mattress is made out of monkey bread tree and out of stone. The rooms are since the stone age. The picture is a fake info. In my room(cottages number 21) probably the first atomic bomb was tested. I left you a nice gift in there. Our house boss, Isaac, sent us to sleep at 10 p.m. and even locked the house. I hope he gets fired. I even found a tarantula in my room and it bit me. Now I feel like spiderman and my meat shoots spider webs. Hope your business will burn in hell and I broke the wheels to your glc 2021:)

Absolutely loved our stay here! It was my first time in Isle of Wight and Hana made my experience so much more enjoyable! Great location, room was amazing! We had the beach hut inspired room and had a separate access through the door on the side which was great too! Room was spacious, lots of coat hangers, comfy bed and fresh towels everyday! Breakfast was perfect, couldn't fault it! You preorder the night before, but in the morning get a selection of cereals, fruits and yoghurts then get your cooked breakfast along with toast, we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning! The room had a book which recommendations of restaurants around the area, along with bus routes, chemists, pharmacies etc. I honestly couldn't fault my time here, and when we do come back to Isle of Wight I will definitely be staying here again along with recommending Brooke House to everyone! Thanks for an amazing stay Hana!

Brooke House is ideally situated as it is close to the train and bus stations. The rooms are clean and airy and the breakfasts are excellent. Hana and Steve are excellent hosts. We would be happy to stay at Brooke House in the future. Several of the other guests regularly stay at Brooke House when they visit Shanklin.

After reading many positive reviews for Brooke House my friend and I decided to go ahead and book. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by Steve who was very friendly and welcoming, and Hannah who was also very friendly and showed us to our room. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The shower was great and the towels were large. Comfy beds and blackout curtains ensured a great nights sleep. Hannah was lovely and greeted us by our names and every morning we came down to a lovely cooked breakfast, there was also a good choice of cereal, juice and yogurt. We could have as much tea, coffee and toast as we wanted and nothing was ever too much trouble for Hannah. We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended and within easy walking distance to the beach, shops bars and restaurants!
