I really enjoyed my stay in Shanhaiguan area. The hotel has a very convenient location, just 5-10 minutes driver from major tourists attractions.
The staff is friendly and helpful, they helped me using the washing machine and also kept my luggage after I checked out and went to explore the nearby Great Wall sections.
The room was big and had all the necessary amenities such as slippers, kettle and cups.
The room and bathroom were very clean, however, the bathroom is a bit old and might need some renovating.
I asked for a non-smoking room but I still could smell the stench of smoking, but I didn't ask to change cause I thought that it would be the same for the other rooms since even in the hall there were people smoking freely. For one night it was okay and I would probably stay again at this hotel.

The hotel is 2 bus stops from the railway station and not far from laolongtou (by bus). There're convenient store, restaurants, food stalls nearby. Though the room's interior looks quite aged but it's clean and good value of money. Staff didn't speak much English but tried a lot to help on my inquiries.

Nice hotel! Good room temperature, helpful service, easy check in process, and modern, comfortable room with decent amenities. Near perfect but the bathroom soap dispenser was having issues which prolonged my shower time, so I took just 1 point off my rating ;)

Very good hotel! The staff is polite and caring and speaks English. Convenient location. Not far to the Great Wall of China and Dragon Dogova. There is a cafe nearby. You can quickly take a taxi. In the evening there are dances in the square. The room is very nice and clean. Cleaning every day. I recommend booking this hotel. I want to come back here again

Nice location, the manager can speak English very well and a lot of helpful with his kindly. There is a bus stop on the left, you can take bus no 25 to Greatwall; Laolongtou and Shanhaiguan greatwall near Train station, Bus no 25 start from Train station.
