After attending a tourism conference promoting Shangri-La, visiting Balagezong was a must—and it exceeded expectations! Despite our late arrival due to snow, the staff’s warm hospitality shone as they kept the chef late to prepare us a delicious meal. The traditional ******* architecture and breathtaking mountain views from our window created an unforgettable experience.
The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. We can’t wait to return and share this incredible place with friends. Highly recommend!

Location up high on the mountain. Only have hotel restaurants.
My family and another couple friends were assigned rooms that are so cold (11 Deg C in early Apr) including the bed that our guide tried to contact the receptionist to help us adjust the heater. But no one came. So my husband has to personally climb approx. 50 stairs to go to the main lobby as there is no phone in the room. Someone came & tried to adjust it but he said that was the best he could do and asked us to wait for 10 min to see if the heater was working but it didn’t. I asked for a change of room. I have to climb the stairs to the assigned new room to check if the heater is warm. When all ok, then we moved our stuff. The rooms above the main building has different heater and is comfortably warm. Wasted 1.5 hrs of our rest time when we were so tired. Next the bed is hard but the pillows are too soft. Breakfast is just adequate but taste bland.
They are helpful but difficult to contact them without physically climb stairs to meet them.
In summary, you need a car and ability to climb stairs to stay here.

Bellissimo posto, affascinante, bellissimo proprietario. Preparerà la cena per voi se ne avete bisogno. Una semplice colazione per un ambiente tranquillo in una tipica casa *******. Abbiamo andato al mare di Napa, circa 15 minuti dall'hotel, abbiamo visto diversi tipi di animali. Ci è piaciuto il viaggio a Shangrila.
Raccomando molto questa struttura, può chiamare il proprietario per scegliere te o guidare all'aeroporto.
E' cosi' carina, spero che troverà più clienti anche se la situazione non migliora.

The hotel was so beautiful. The wood of building structure makes every angle of the hotel is unique. It reminds me of Istana Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
We just stayed in the room and enjoy the view. The Sunset and sunrise.
The owner named Renqing Cimu Mei was so kind. She helped us in wearing traditional clothes - tibet. She also helped us in paying our dinner at the dukezong halal restaurant since that restaurant didn't receive Ali Pay. We're panicked at that time and so relieved when Renqing Cimu helped us. She also pickup and send us back to the railway station and give us some souvenirs.
We're so happy with the hospitality that given by her. For sure we will comeback with my big family of 12, with extra days of staying, riding the horse, and let my 2 years old niece play with the sheep.

Recommendation:
Maybe you can open a small shop at the lobby and sell white tshirts that printed your hotel name or napa hai lake view or any beautiful nature view in xianggelila. The guests can buy it and bring back to their hometown and will always remember the memories being in your hotel.

Il terzo negozio di Xilinyuan viene aperto nel piccolo villaggio di Napa con solo 48 famiglie. ”Dentro la montagna, fuori dal tempo”
All'ingresso del cortile si trova un piccolo giardino botanico alpino, che ospita quasi la maggior parte delle specie vegetali alpine. Ogni camera inoltre porta il nome di una pianta alpina, cosa bella e significativa.
Entrando nella stanza, il giallo brillante e i colori caldi leniscono la fatica degli operai, e il riscaldamento a pavimento e le luci a sensore che si illuminano ovunque si vada sono rispettosi dell'anima solitaria. I deliziosi biscotti fatti in casa in camera, il latte caldo della buonanotte... ovunque riflette le intenzioni dell'hotel. Ogni posto nell'area pubblica è estremamente confortevole e il servizio è quasi perfetto 💯
Un set completo di articoli da toeletta della serie Dead Sea può idratare il corpo, i capelli e la pelle disidratati nell'area dell'altopiano.Avvolti nella fragrante fragranza dolce della nocciola, ti sentirai a tuo agio e rilassato.
L'hotel dispone di un proprio ristorante, che funge da facciata gastronomica dell'intero villaggio e attira anche ospiti non residenti. Puoi sederti sul prato dove puoi vedere mucche e pecore e prendere il tè pomeridiano. Taco di carne di yak, waffle tsampa... il gusto del cibo creativo combinato con le caratteristiche locali è sorprendente❗️
In serata l'hotel ha organizzato un piccolo tour per visitare la vicina casa della nonna tibetana. Una carina ragazza tibetana Qingli Zhuma (giuro che questo è il nome più carino che abbia mai sentito) mi ha insegnato molto sul Tibet. La sera mangiavo anche autentico cibo tibetano preparato da me a casa di mia nonna e raramente vedevo il processo di produzione~
Perché scegliere di vivere a Napa Sea? Rispetto alla vivace città antica di Dukezong, questo posto è meno affollato e ha uno splendido scenario, non c'erano quasi turisti per tutta la mattina. Crogiolarsi al sole sull'altopiano e consumare la colazione preparata con cura dall'hotel.Spero che il tempo rimanga in questo momento per sempre.

YYusry MuhammadOur host, Mr. Yao Xiang, was the epitome of kindness and hospitality. From picking us up at the train station to accommodating our requests even late at night, he went above and beyond to make our stay remarkable. He even ensured a smooth journey to our next destination. His genuine care and attentiveness made us feel truly valued.
The room was nothing short of perfection, heated floors, cozy heated beds, a hot shower, and a delightful selection of snacks and drinks. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The package included a delicious welcome high tea, and the chance to try on traditional ******* clothing for me, my wife, and my son was a unique and memorable highlight.
The breathtaking backdrop of majestic mountains, sprawling grass fields, grazing sheep, and friendly dogs and cat created a picturesque setting. It felt like stepping into a dream—a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Three days in this incredible place were far too short to fully immerse ourselves in its rich culture and beauty. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a mix of tranquility and adventure. BBrucmeritI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish.
What stood out immediately was how responsive and efficient the team was through the group chat they created for guests. It felt like having a concierge in your pocket—fast, friendly, and always ready to help.
One moment that really impressed me: I had sent my laundry in (yes, they offer complimentary laundry service—not just machines, but actual washing and drying done for you!), and I noticed one of my socks was missing. I casually asked about it in the group chat while I was having breakfast near the reception area. To my surprise, I saw a staff member literally sprint off from the reception and return shortly after—with my missing sock in hand! That level of attentiveness was genuinely remarkable.
There was a little hiccup when the hotel forgot our advance booking for transport. We were initially told to book our own as their cars were all taken, which left us pretty dissatisfied—especially since it wasn’t a last-minute request. But while I was venting to my friend, one of our butlers overheard us and quietly stepped in. She said she'd help us out—and to our surprise, she personally booked a DiDi ride for us using her own money. We were honestly amazed by that level of care, and it meant so much that we later decided to bring her a little taste of our local delight as a thank-you gift.
The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon tea, complete with barista-made coffee and cakes—a perfect treat to enjoy while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Speaking of which, the view from my room was incredible—lush, open grasslands that made every moment feel peaceful and grounding.
They also offer a car service to take you to nearby points of interest, but to be honest, the hotel itself was such a gem that I could have easily stayed in the whole time. Between the view, the service, and the food (the in-house restaurant is also worth mentioning—delicious meals and lovely ambience), I never felt the need to venture far.
This hotel nails it when it comes to comfort, hospitality, and thoughtful touches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and memorable stay.
Bonus: they have three adorable chowskis roaming around the property, and one of them can even open the lobby door. 🐾 Honestly, that alone made my day.
If you’re looking for a comfy, heartwarming escape—this is it.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno a Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, e lo consigliamo fortemente a chiunque visita Shangri-La, Yunnan. Da quando abbiamo prenotato, l'ospite è stato estremamente rispondente, mantenendosi in contatto con noi per tre settimane prima del nostro viaggio. Hanno fornito consigli utili, come portare vestiti pesanti a causa del freddo e della neve, che ci hanno aiutato molto a prepararci per la nostra visita.
Una delle migliori cose su questo soggiorno di casa era l'ospitalità, che ci ha portati in piedi e ci ha lasciati alla stazione ferroviaria gratuitamente, rendendo la nostra arrivo e partenza senza problemi. E poi, in un altro posto, ci hanno prestato giacche d’inverno a un costo non superiore, un gesto consapevole, e hanno organizzato un pilota per noi per visitare i luoghi che volevamo esplorare, rendendo il nostro viaggio felice e piacevole.
Il soggiorno stesso era fantastico, esattamente come mostrato nelle foto, e dotato di tutte le attrezzature. Il letto era molto comodo e apprezzavamo i tetti caldi e l’ossigeno, essenziali a causa dell’altezza di Shangri-La. Il soggiorno di casa aveva anche un design moderno, mentre si trovava nel cuore della città antica, offrendo un facile accesso a tutto.
Oltre al comodo soggiorno, la gentilezza e l’orientamento dell’ospite hanno migliorato la nostra esperienza, raccomandando grandi luoghi per visitare e ristoranti locali per provare, assicurandoci di avere un viaggio memorabile.
In generale, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno perfetto e in futuro sicuramente sceglieremo di nuovo questo soggiorno.

VVy Anh NguyenThis is by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to China. The hotel is equipped with all modern amenities, especially the toilet with an automatic bidet (something that’s not found anywhere else in China). The room was incredibly cozy with modern heating facilities, and the host even provided an oxygen machine (though I didn’t actually need to use it). I truly felt that it was worth every penny for the two nights I spent here.
One of the highlights was the adorable and friendly Ragdoll cat that lives here! The hotel owner even allowed us to bring the cat into our room to play, and it was just so sweet and playful.
Moreover, the host offered us a free pick-up and drop-off service at both the train station and the airport, even though it was 7 in the morning! I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. If you want to enjoy a fantastic stay in Shangrila, book this hotel now!

一進房間，齊全的設施就讓我眼前一亮。空調製暖效果超給力，香格里拉早晚温差大，有了它，寒意瞬間消散，暖到心坎裏。還有智能加熱馬桶，體驗感直接拉滿，每次使用都幸福暖意感爆棚。全屋智能客控更是科技感十足，燈光、窗簾動動嘴就能控制，太方便啦！
閑暇時刻，往床上一躺，打開巨大的投影儀，選一部喜歡的電影，瞬間開啟愜意的私人影院時光 。洗衣服也不愁，小米智能洗烘衣機又快又安靜，完全解決了出行旅途又不想出門又不想用公共洗衣機的煩惱。
最讓我驚喜的是民宿的觀景體驗。門口那扇大大的落地窗，視野絕佳，每天清晨，不用出門，躺在床上就能將日出與雪山的美景盡收眼底，金色的陽光灑在雪山上，神聖又壯觀，每一幀都能直接當壁紙。
這裏的服務人員管家們也特別熱情，從辦理入住時的貼心引導，到遊玩時給出的實用建議，再到離開時的暖心送別，全程都讓人感覺像在家一樣自在。無論是幫忙預訂門票，還是解答各種問題，他們總是滿臉笑容，有求必應。
這次的住宿體驗太棒了！真心推薦給來香格里拉遊玩的朋友們，相信你們住了也一定會愛上！

FFlorence TF LeeI am a frequent traveler internationally. It is clear to me that this hotel owner has excellent standards. From minute details like toiletries, the fluffy bedroom slippers, the luxurious towels & bathrobes, to the fine cotton bed linens, I dare say they are a 6-star quality boutique hotel. The staff is friendly & accomodative. There is also batista coffee at breakfast. Location wise, it is so convenient! 3min walk to the Dukezhong bell. I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Thanks to her thoughtful recommendations and meticulous planning, I was able to explore the magnificent Songzanlin Monastery, as well as other scenic spots that showcased the unique beauty of the region.
The hotel’s facilities were outstanding, with spacious, elegantly designed rooms that provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The dining options were equally impressive, offering a mix of local ******* flavors and international cuisine. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and always eager to help, adding to the overall exceptional experience.

Il capo ci ha intrattenuto molto calorosamente e ci ha invitato ad accendere un fuoco, bere tè al burro e mangiare orzo dell'altopiano, proprio come amici.
Ci tornerò quando tornerò☺️
La posizione è nella città antica. Le auto non possono entrare, ma il capo verrà a prenderti. È molto comodo per chi ha bagagli grandi.

SSiti Raihan AdnanThe hotel owner was so kind to us. The hotel is a bit uphill but the owner came to the north gate to pick up our luggages in the middle of the night. He also offered tea for us and upgraded our room with amazing view ❤️ the hotel is clean and has modern look.
The owner also offered to send the luggage back to north gate, even though we already checked out hours ago.
Thank you very much for the hospitality. (Forgot to take pictures in the room, but it was exactly las advertised) really recommended.

Ci sono enoteche e caffetterie sul ponte di osservazione e i piatti Pu'er e americani sono buoni. È comprensibile che i bagni nelle zone di montagna siano pubblici, almeno non hanno un cattivo odore. L'insonorizzazione della stanza è pessima, di notte è necessario indossare cuffie antirumore
