Questa è la prima volta che soggiorno in questo hotel. La posizione nel centro di Shangluo è ovviamente imbattibile. Non è necessario essere a un piano alto per godersi la vista sul fiume e la vista notturna. Per me è scomodo portare una persona anziana su sedia a rotelle e spingere la sedia a rotelle mentre devo aprire la porta per entrare e uscire è abbastanza grande, ma non ci sono piccoli articoli da toeletta appesi al muro; inoltre, è possibile aggiungere uno sgabello da bagno per facilitare l'uso degli anziani disabili, in terzo luogo, le stoviglie nella zona frittura calda della sala colazione; vengono posizionati sul fornello a specchio. Quando si prelevano i piatti, i piatti girano e non si fissano, rendendo scomodo per gli ospiti prelevarli. Check-in was quick and we were given a pass for free entry to vineyard and two small bottles of wine. An extra key card was also provided upon request. No deposit had to be made.
The receptionist didn’t seem to have a lot of experience in handling booking confirmations shown in English language, but they quickly found it in their system instead.
Rooms:
Quite spacious and with all the furniture. It had a sofa set, 4 chairs with side tables along with a working desk and chair as well. Bedroom had a king size bed and a side sofa as well. The living room had a small balcony which allows you to enjoy the view outside. The lights were automatic and all buttons were touch operated.
Air conditioner took some time and were not always able to reach the desired temperature. Luckily the weather was good.
Amenities:
The mini bar refrigerator seem to have been removed during our visit; but there was tea, coffee and two complementary water bottles, a big 5 liter jar of drinking water was also in the room which only costed 5 RMB. We didn’t try the gym but a walk around the pond was quite pleasant.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was big, fitted with a bathtub and good water pressure. Hot water was always available but not sure why it was yellow in color; should be fine for bathing I guess.
The shower only worked in one mode and drain seemed a bit broken. Shower gel bottle was only filled up to a quarter of its capacity but seemed enough as we didn’t have to ask for a refill. There was no shaving kit found among disposables but all other items were there.
Service:
The room service was great and the food that we ordered from hotel restaurant arrived within 20 minutes. They also cleaned the room when we went out in the morning and provided a fresh set of towels and other amenities. Reception always provided the directions but no one accompanied us to the room after check-in. They always had a smile on and helped us with all our queries.
