Great location at a good price - close to the Shanghai Library metro station (line 10), and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I guess parts of the hotel are a bit worn down, but then again the price reflects this. As others have noted the bed was on the harder side.

Rain managed to knock out the electricity of this hotel and some neighboring stores while the rest of the city was un affected. I was told to find another hotel last minute. The location is good but the hotel itself can really use an update. I would not stay again.

My room was upgraded freely but I wasn’t happy with quality was offered! TV Didn’t work & the bathtub deranged wasn’t working!

As much as I love this hotel, I feel seriously let down by both the hotel and your company today because I learned that I was being forced to check out just this morning, despite our 3-party agreement that I will continue to extend my stay every 3-4 days until June 5, and that I will be notified in advance whenever I need to officially extend. Now, it is 230p on a Friday afternoon, and I am scrambling to find new accommodation. Epic fail!

The hotel's staff is courteous, accommodating, and attentive to guests' needs, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. I requested an ironing table at 11PM and the maid showed up within 5 minutes with all the required items. Additionally, the hotel breakfast is pretty tasty.
For an affordable and enjoyable stay in Shanghai, the Nanying Hotel is a reliable choice, catering to both leisure and business travelers with its convenient location and pleasant amenities.

Great price and amazing location! There was nothing else close in price anywhere else in the area. However, the room was a little old and dusty.
