One of my worst experience in Shanghai during last ten years travelling.
-First of all this place is NOT foreigner friendly: only Chinese electric plugs available in the rooms (see the picture)
- WiFi available only if you have a ************** mobile number.
- The breakfast is not inside the hotel but it is in a affiliated Chinese fast food close by (see the picture)
- No room laundry service.
- Unacceptable extra thing: during my staying (May 2024) some workers start to smash and drilling walls at midnight on the floor over the rooms !!
Stay away from this place and save your money !!

Okay for short stay and for flights or railway connection with several metrolines and maglev. There is no outdoor noise but our room was right beside the elevator room so it was a loud noise everytime the elevator was running. Room was clean and modern. We had a gap between the wall and the door which we could see trough. We therefore heard all the talking and walking outside in the corridor. Not a big deal but the elevator was a pain.
Okay for the price and location. Breakfast at McDonald but food everywhere in china so lots of alternatives. Also bakery right beside.

It is a very good place for how's looking cheap price and near to the subway station less then 2 min to achieve subway Line 2 this line takes you everywhere in Shanghai
the staff not speak English but they use translator app so its good 👍

Hotel absolutely not for foreigners.
Only chinese plugs, no breakfast coocked in house but to be ordered at a chinese fast food chain outside - not reported in hotel description - we booked breakfast included and we got the surprise only at the check in desk...
A lot of noise during night for work in progress (at 1:00 o'clock a.m. drilling and hammering!!!).
Surely not to be recommended

Very convenient location right beside maglev and metro exit. Good for those on a few hours layover flight. There are 2 types of window views, cheaper room is closely facing opposite room so if you want window with city view then get the higher category room. First thing I noticed when I entered the room was the strong cigarette smell, previous occupant must have smoked in the room. Second thing I noticed was hair, on the room floor, on bathroom floor and even on shower glass door, makes me wonder what they use to wipe the glass door. Shower room drainage is a little slow so it gets flooded when i showered but subsided after that. Overall it's a OK budget hotel but cleanliness needs to improve.

Very clean, room is nice despite a very basic lobby. No common areas.
Staff doesn’t speak English, but phone translation works.
Complimentary water bottles and teabags in the room. Kettle and self-heating toilet!
Hard to find from the station. It’s right in front of the McDonalds as reviews say, but the sign is in Chinese and there are workers and scaffolding just outside.

The location is very convenient because you have the Longyang Road Subway Station there, which is especially great for those who travel to or from Hongqiao Railway Station and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The facilities are in good condition. Our room was a bit small and we could hear a little bit of noise during the night. But otherwise it's a good budget option and it ticks all of the basic requirements.
