Very nice resort. Only wish the swimming pool was maintained and useable, even though the time of year. And also the restaurant was not open, which was disappointing; no food just drinks at the bar. Again, I understand, time of year means less bookings and therefore it's probably not viable to pay staff for the kitchen during that period. We would have liked to have experienced it though. Another time! Otherwise, great location, friendly, unimposing staff, atmospheric lighting and trees and fallen leaves, cosy bungalow.
We had stayed prior to this at the nearby Nirvana Resort, Sevan. Loved both, personally preferred Nirvana. What I would say is that Nirvana was the better lake resort, with bungalows right on the lake, especially if you get Nirvana bungalow #1 or Nirvana bungalow #2 with big bay window and modern fittings (however other bungalows are being renovated, and it's such a friendly, cute, quirky, beautiful site), and Garden Inn Resort Sevan was the better site in terms of beauty with its plentiful trees and facilities (even though not operating to full capacity when we stayed), with a short 1-minute walk from the lake shore and 'public beach'.
