Hotel con piscina a Setúbal Municipality

This is a 3-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star hotel. The units that were recently renovated got the landlord special: the doorknobs were falling off the bathroom door, the A/C just didn’t work (the staff insisted it did, but we needed to open the window regardless), and the shower doesn’t have a proper barrier so water gets literally everywhere despite your best efforts. The rooms are tiny giving you no space to get takeout or eat a snack. There are plenty of tables downstairs and poolside but the staff insist you cannot bring outside food even though there is no restaurant using those tables and the tables have no use outside of breakfast. The rooms are expensive for the location and amenities. There is a pool but honestly you don’t come to Portugal to swim in a hotel pool. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I’ve never had a worse experience at a so-called “4-star” hotel. At least with 3 star hotels they’re cheaper and you know what you’re getting. We actually had a better stay at another local hotel last week. A large family suite with powerful air conditioning for far less than this tiny double bed room with a vent that blows oddly humid and slightly cool air.

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! Una grata sorpresa en este viaje fe Portugal. Había leído muchas opiniones malas o mediocres del hotelcy para nosotros ña experiencia fue de 10. Llegamos desde la estación de buses y son 5 minutos andando, enseguida lo ves. Nos hicieron el check in muy rápido y pese a que la habitación no la podíamos usar hasta las 15 nos la dieron nada más llegar. Nuestra habitación estaba ubicada en la planta 6 y la verdad que perfecta, tenía todo ventanales quw daban a un prado verde con animales. No sd oye ruido de la calle con todo cerrado. Te Dan una botella de agua por cortesía el primer día. Algo muy curioso es que el baño tiene bañera y para que no te resbales te dejan una alfombra antideslizante para usar nueva todos los,días en la bañera. Los geles con los que te lavas son de la marca Rituals. Tienes albornoz. La habitación perfecta con hervidor y selección de tes y cafés que te ponen todos los días de manera gratis. El WiFi funciona perfecto y la televisión tiene canales en Español por si quieres verlos. El sistema de limpieza de habitaciones funciona muy bien y todo el hotel está más que limpio. Tema desayuno perfecto, es de los pocos hoteles donde se puede ver que hay comida justa caliente y a medida que esa comida se va acabando reponen de la misma. Tienes de todo tipo de panes, HUEVOS frutos y revueltos,mermeladas envasadas de manera individual. Cafés. Todo la verdad que de 10, con un horario que va desde las 730 hasta las 1030. Referente al spa y la piscina y gym, decir que la piscina está genial a una temperatura buena sin ser excesivamente calurosa y te permite poder hacer algunos largos. El jacuzzi no funcionaba en toda nuestra estancia y te puedes duchar abajo sin subir a la habitación, además con un horario muy amplio que va desde las 8 a las 22 y un gym que abre las 24 horas del dia

Il personale era molto carino, così amichevole e utile, e questo è stato un enorme plus. I letti erano freschi ogni giorno senza fallimento e contenevano lenzuola fresca e gli asciugamani puliti. Il buffet è stato buono con una varietà di frutta fresca, yogurt, cereali, salami, han, formaggio e buffet caldo; bacon, uova salsicce! Rolli e pasticce dolci così tanti da scegliere. Caffè fresco e tè, così come una scelta di succhi... Per il prezzo è stato buon valore.
